Dicky Knox (Richard Knox) the prison officer who he mentions saving his life was my grandfather, who sadly passed away to cancer... right up till the last 4ish months of his life he was still out playing the monday and friday night leagues having a good laugh with his boys. He told me this story, but the fact Chris still remembers him and still considers him to be the man who brought him back from the brink and speaks so highly of him is just incredible, and the legend that he was still lives on in so many peoples memories 💔
Amazing to hear Chris talking so openly about this period of his life. For us fans, this is what we've all been curious to hear about for a long time. Looking forward to the full podcast. Chris is brilliant and it's great to see him working with the PDC on content like this - he's one of the best talkers & thinkers in darts.
Being someone who had a chaotic life at one stage I have experienced homelesnes and prison. I spent 2 years on my 1st sentence at Portland YO and let me tell you, I've done time in Reading prison and Bristol and Young offenders are way worse. Real hard time. I've always liked and respected Chris Mason and never knew he done some porridge. Chris is a man I can relate too. Love him.
Whoever's reading this, I pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever your struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day Amen
its not like ive actually held any negative thoughts or attitude towards Chris Mason, a quality player in his day, ive no idea if he still slings any?, now that ive watched this interview twice over, its opened my eyes some about CM the Man, there were certain things he said that i could relate to and empathize with, having had very similar experiences myself, for sure the level of Respect i now have for Chris Mason has been greatly elevated, Good on ya Chris!!
I remember a tv documentary called darts players wife’s and Chris wife or girlfriend was on it while he was in jail and part of it he was out was quite good
If you followed him on Twitter when he was on (good follow btw) you'd of known. In fact the the trolls would of let you know in the replies to every single tweet.
How about him also talking about his benefit fraud? The guy is an A grade 'git' (to put it very politely), yet he still gets hired by the likes of the PDC and ITV. It just proves that crime really does pay.
No idea he even went to prison or anything tbh, so this all seems a bit like cutting the middle of a conversation out and presenting it to me. Look forward to the full one though!

Serious props to the guard who stopped him double topping himself.
Fun fact: the judge gave him 180 hours of community service, ironically

It just proves that crime really does pay.
You can tell he's absolutely in love with himself.
Agree, guy is an absolute clown
Exactly bro doesn't deserve anything
Should've been locked up for throwing darts.🥳🤘
Worst attitude in Darts, a total Oddball.
Can we have Phill Barrs as the next guest please guys?
He's an emBARRasment
Why do people employ this serial criminal
Because people can make mistakes and deserve a chance to change there life.
@@BartoniGaming he made a few too many mistakes imo. Still a knob on social media as well
He has an appalling record, disgraceful.
