Tata ACE XL is available in two fuel options CNG and Diesel. In 2019, the popular Tata Ace CNG was succeeded by the TATA Ace XL CNG. The Tata Ace XL CNG Mini Truck comes with a 15% longer load body compared to the Tata Ace CNG and is backed by years of faith in its predecessor's reliability, durability, versatility, safety, comfort and large loading area.
The era of Tata Mini trucks started in 2005 when Tata Ace was launched. Since then Tata Ace is commonly referred to as Chota Hathi in the market place. Tata Ace XL is the elongated version of Tata Ace HT and comes with 8.2 ft deck length. This Tata mini truck has been introduced for carrying voluminous goods, with a payload capacity of 710 Kg. It comes with Parabloic leaf springs suspension in front & rear in this Tata mini truck ensures lesser requirement of regular wheel alignment, thus resulting in lesser maintenance cost. Tyre size of 145R12 offer a sufficient ground clearance of 160 mm and coupled with a wheelbase of 2250 mm, this Tata mini truck can turn in 4.625m circle radius.
Tata Ace XL CNG is powered by a 702 cc twin cylinder 205 CNG, water cooled multi point gas injection engine which produces a max power of 21HP with 49NM and gets mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox, whereas Tata Ace XL diesel comes with max power of 16HP with 39NM and mated to a 4 speed manual gearbox.
