You know nothing John snow 🤣 I'll not risk blowing mine up. If anyone really wants to get a few more mph, front sprocket change for one with a couple more teeth and a new air filter and injector kit from 1mm to 1.5mm other than that I'd buy a bigger bike.
Sounds optimistic to say the least. Also, the rev limiter is to protect the engine, not to restrict the speed. If you want more speed, you need to change the front sprocket so you can keep the revs within the safe and that will only give you an extra 10% speed before you seriously loose acceleration and power (different to top speed), which will put you at higher risk in an urban environment. Sorry mate but this video an the one for for kill switch look convoluted and risky. Why cut wires when both mods can be mechanical and more straightforward?
Because this guy hasnt a clue about bikes, he will learn the hard way when his engine is in bits on the highway, i did exactly what you said on my bike a few years back, infact most of my bikes i go for sprocket size change to reduce the revs and more top speed, and i seldom notice any difference in acceleration
The rev limiter kicks in at ten grand and their not much after that so I think 20% more power is optimistic . Plus the bike is geared towards torque not speed, so did you modify the drive train to achieve 20% power increase? I know a tuning company that remaps these bikes and they can only get 2hp extra from it,I'm sure they would be interested how you done this. And their no law in uk stating it must have a rev limiter.

@@j.daugust962 Nice one 80mph does seem a tad optimistic for such a heavy 125 and taking into account its just a cloned cbf engine but I suppose it all depends on what other alterations you have made. The wire is the kill switch. On my bike stop 🛑 exactly in 10,200prm. Abut 120 km. So if you cat the wire you kill your engine. Put in back on dude
