Thanks everyone who enjoyed this video! :)
That code with # is a HEX code.. used in websites
Joe Jordan Hex = hexadecimal, is a color code...
Thanks to you for helping me out off this mess with photoshop!
:)
No, thank you so much. Learnt a lot. You're a good teacher
For this being "part 1", others might find this confusing because you have skipped how layer works (ctrl+J), which is very important to proceed and use other tools.
this comment was helpful
Thanks for your cmt
I was searching how he did at this part
You are much more informative! Thanks
6:27 i think he kinda did?
Thank you for this comment
ive seen multiple tutorial videos and i actually enjoyed watching yours, simply because you dont sound too uptight and explain your steps even when you mess up. which helps me a lot since ima beginner! thanks dude
Thanks for creating a tutorial that is actually for someone who has never used photoshop...very easy to follow and you have a cool and "real" personality too...not stiff and boring...confident enough to be imperfect making it more organic and genuine.
This is a Lasso tool. It's kindda like a lasso tool. Okay, dude
"Just Another Butthole" explains why he's butthurt for no reason

that made me dislike this video and search for better options
crying!!!! hahaha!
😂😂😂😂😂
Liked, subscribed and off to the next video - this is exactly what I was looking for and you make it so easy to grasp. Forever would open it up and just be straight up overwhelmed! THANK YOU!
you dont need to tell him doosh. its not like he has a giveaway or something
Thank you for this tutorial! There are a lot of versions of what "beginner" level looks like with something as complex as photoshop and you did a great job pointing out some of the basics I needed in a patient, non-overwhelming way. Thanks for making your knowledge available!
I have basically known what the first five thing in Photoshop do, but I learned so much from this tutorial! I'm going to be watching the next one now, so yet again, thanks!
I know people will really appreciate this. Great video man.

"That does that and wotnot."
Nice job.
I'm in love with your voice *__* i can listen to you talking all day!! and thank you for this, it's really helpful!!
appreciate your time & effort to help those of us that need it with photoshop. It's been at least 6 years since I tinkered with it, so it was a good refresh. What I don't understand is how absurd it is that people leave nasty comments. So thanks for staying classy & taking time out to make this tutorial.
with all due respect, as a complete beginner, I found this a VERY confusing tutorial.you hardly explained what anything did and I found myself stuck (and very pissed off) at the very first move.
I have never used photoshop before watching this tutorial and found it very easy to follow, what confused you?
Samuel Ajani Completely agree. First time ever and this was really easy to understand.
***** Why would I be a troll? I was simply stating that at first I didn't understand the tutorial. are you saying that because I didn't understand something at first I'm a troll?
Samuel Ajani If I'm going to be blunt Now that I am used to photoshop I can't really spot what I didn't understand XD
Ben Hampson i didnt understand it too. it was so confusing. all i heard was this,that,here.ok.
You can tell he knows the material. It's like his brain can't audibly translate what his hands are doing. We ended up with gems like "Moves this, like this. It does this."
I am a soon to be Arts Tech students and we already have an assignment due before class starts and I think this is very helpful considering I had no idea what I was doing. I am looking forward to more tutorials!!!
Thank you Great sound quality very sharp and concise and no annoying music... top job!
mtechreviewer Thanks so much! Means a lot man.
Jerico Santos Wow lol. Besides that would be illegal if the program were not to be bought
Logy Freer Hah! I got Photoshop from torrents
I got this for free, lol.

BronyWriterFiM yikes, congrats i guess lol nice
Hi your tutorials look really good. I have only had time to look at one this morning but I will be continuing to study the lessons to are putting on.I have some knowledge of photoshop but these look like great learning tutorials. thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have to go out soon but am looking for to following your tutorial. Thank you for sharin
Regards Diane
Thanks for the begginers guide man! I recently got into photoshop and these tips gave me a better understanding of the features.
This is the first video ever got me in learning Photoshop, it's been like 4 years now and I'm feeling like I'm a master at Photoshop now from all these years of experience xD
I am totally new to Photoshop, I really want to learn how to use it, but I got stuck even at the first (move) tool. You clicked on things, and obviously used shortcuts on your keyboard that you didn't mention. (When you say "wow, what did he just do" I actually was like Woww what did you just do?)
If you make a tutorial for beginners, explain it in a proper way.

Can't really come around these type of people. He is a great helper.
This is my first time using any Photoshop version and I thought that this tutorial was great and easy to use. Thanks!
This is my first time using Photoshop. I want to learn how to use it and I decided to watch your videos! Looking forward to your videos. Thanks!
its not for beginner actually, u don't tell me when u press CTRL + J to duplicate layer and CTRL + T to resize that image, so i got confuse and ask my friend to tell me your video :(
Thank you!!! I could not get past the first instruction because the picture was locked (like it was in the video... but he didn't explain how he got the new layer which could be moved around). Thanks for the tip!
Yeah Thnks :/
this is a better tutorial than the video. thanks
thank you for your explanation. It saved me a lot of time. I was so confused at first.
6:28 he says it.
if you are making an Tutorial for beginners you need to explain everything that you are doing. but thanks anyways...

Good feedback, saves me the time of watching it. Very bad tutorials..............
Right? He apparently doesn't even know anything about the old Photoshops... I was annoyed that he would bring some things up, then just skip and hurry on. He should also be talking about every option you have when you can right click into the menu...
@@AnnaliseAngelsin agree
OUT OF ALL THE "TUTORIALS" THIS IS ONE LEGIT ❤️✨ THANKS ! SO NEED THIS RN

"Screw"
It says Skew lmao
Good stuff man. Ill be watching all your videos.
Thank you for making such a great, real, fresh tutorial.
You kept it very personable and understandable, thank you for your support.
As someone that has no knowledge of photoshop, how did your image show up in the first layer when you clicked new layer? When I did that my layer 1 is shown as a blank layer.
This should you help you: 12: Add a new blank layer
I'm still confused. I understand how to make a new layer, however in this tutorial when he pressed the new layer button, all the sudden the image he uploaded is displayed as his new layer, and not as a blank. When I pressed the same button he did, my layer is blank. I don't understand why.
fadedsun303 Oh now I understand, I think you meant a background layer and not a blank layer. Press CTRL + J (make sure you're on your picture) to make a background copy. Or drag and drop the picture to the new layer button.
Perfect! Thank you very much.
fadedsun303 You're welcome!
Beginners ... really, Not man, I was lost on your first move. How do we do another layer .... I think thats how I got stuck ...
Same here
Im a new channel focusing with simple designs for beginners😊
Thank you so much for this one. I reallt need to learn more 😊
Perfect just downloaded the entire adobe creative suite 6 master collection for windows...Loved your tutorial watching the next ones. Thanks alot.
I've watched about 5 minutes of the video and just...check this out : "This is the marquee tool", 3 minutes later "This is the lasso tool, which is kinda like a lasso tool............like a marquee tool"... Man, i do really like your idea and you probably understand photoshop really good, but as lessons ... bad idea . Dude... I wasted 5 minutes. Thumbs up anyway, keep it going !
Screw? LOl Isn't it Skew
I have learned more in the past 17 minutes from your video than i have in the past 3 weeks that i have been exploring Photoshop. Thanks and i look forward to your other videos.
Thanks! I really like to hear that you've learned something quicker and more effectively.
You are the only person who designed the tutorial for a person who is really on the beginning of the Photoshop. Thanks, Awesome. Please do make more video, my goal is to make website with Photoshop.
skew, not screw
"This is a lasso tool. Which is... Kind of like a lasso... tool." So I can use it to capture indians? Anyhow, really grateful for this vid, man.
Awesome tutorial! Thanks mate!
Good vid mate! Very educational. Definitely gonna check out your other vids:)
Why my layer is white??? I dont have the same picture twice like you! when i create a new layer the layer is white how to change that??????
Ctrl O
DeziFour i have the same problem and ctrl O is not helping
im working in windows by the way
He duplicated the layer.
+giwrgossk8 did you find your answer?
Screw? Fucking fantastic
Right up there with "proportion ", i.e. Perspective.
Very helpful! Thanks for the tutorial!
Thank You so much King this my first video, and i learn a lot. keep keep doing what you do ok man. U are the best. HAIL to KING!!!
screw or skew? lol
I cant even move the picture
My layer is locked goddamit
lol i got pissed at that actually. i still dont know how to move it
Google to the rescue:
The quick fix
graphicssoft.about.com/cs/photoshop/f/unlockbglayer.htm
This one is more detailed and explains the concept of the background layer, it's properties, and why its locked :D
www.photoshopessentials.com/basics/layers/background-layer/
hope this helps
NajCarnage DANML12 In the pannel on the right hand side of the photoshop window you will see a small thumbnail of the image with the word background next to it. Right click the image and click duplicate layer. This will bring up a copy of the image that you can edit, move etc.
Samuel Ajani thank you samuel
No problem mate, glad I could help!
thanks kingtutspro this is the best beginner tutorial for ps cs6 i ever seen
Thanks for the tutorial KingTutsPro! You see, I just downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS6 and I want to get started on how to edit photos, thanks!
Dude, I'm a qualified Trainer and Assessor. You need to slow down and explain EVERY MOVE if you want beginners to understand. This is not a beginner's tutorial.
wtf how did u copy the image to the new layer, people gotta stop using shortcut when creating tutorials
Just subscribed KingTutsPro. Great Photoshop tutorial. Looking forward to watching number 2. Thanks. Mark.
You're a great teacher, I've learnt so much. Thank you!
How the hell do you unlock the background?!
Ctrl +J....
I really understand you. I spent 30 min to understand how he did it:)
Unfortunately I had to find all of that out a few months ago for my marketing poster...Happy to say I made quite a good one! I guess this is what they call self learning xD
anar musayev thank you, man. i
+Xandria Ravenheart I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but it's double click on the layer, or click and drag the lock icon into the trash can below
this is the first step that i am sure everybody is looking for. how the hell he copies the layer.
You said Screw but i think its Skew
Haha thanks for pointing that out! I didn't realize I said that, lol.
Lol!
Great tutorial , it help me a lot .I have photoshop cs6 . I just purchased the small XP-Pen Star G430S drawing pad with very helpful pen input and find it entirely adequate! I only do photography editing with mine.
Awesome! I appreciate the guidance!
for beginners, you need to discuss the overall layout and function of each tool and icon.. you may want to organize your thoughts before you speak so that viewers won't get distracted by these unrelated comments or annoying redundant. PS stands for a Piece of Shiet.. over a million of youtube video on how to use PS, but none of them worth a chit.. Adobe created tools with these powerful functions, but they don't know how to make it friendly for new users.. why do you have to use these shortcuts while new users need to know where a specific task or function in the menu.. I would never subscribe and NOT recommend to anyone about this tutorial.
Then why don't you make a tutorial?
he's completely right, if this is for beginners he has to explain some basic things, avoid using shoprtcuts and not mentioning it, there's a guy that makes like a 6 hour tutorial on CS5 and that's not the best solution, but it would be great to find a midpoint between KingTutsPro and that other guy and make it a reallly good tutorial
haters gonna hate, no need to get all emo lol
If you don't like it you can get the fuck out. Nobody needs you here pointing out every thing he did wrong.
this is not for beginners/You don't explain some of your actions/
Awesome tutorial! Helped a lot and great job!
Incredible tutorial. Learned me really much and when im done with your series i will be starting to work on some projects :D. Thanks for uploading this!
It's great that you're learning something! Good job :)
Screw tool? No body uses screw? lol It's skew man, it's skew.
Yeah really its not tutorial for beginners its for people who knows their way around photoshop, slow down and explain what you doing, come on
I have to say that it's the most helpful videos I have watched. Really thanks.
Pretty Helpful, man THANKS
This guy is a bad public speaker - I had to turn off the video.
This was my first tutorial sooo...
