AIC 23 is the story of Alan Poole McLard, a Film Studies Professor at a community college, who is trying to make a documentary film about ALICE IN CHAINS to coincide with the release of their new album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. Without the cooperation of the members of Alice in Chains, Alan does his best to interview other musicians that may, or may not, have influenced AIC throughout the years. Pearl Jam went all serious and self congratulatory for their 20th anniversary while Alice in Chains made fun of themselves with a brilliant spoof of Spinal Tap and even got their friends along for the ride. This is why I love AIC.

I love AIC more than you can know. ❤️However, Zeppelin are in a class of their own. If you get into Zeppelin you’ll begin to appreciate the insane vocals of Plant and the guitar of Jimmy Page! #Kashmir
Song of Life Zeppelin is classic. Its a must for any rock fan. Personally though Achilles Last Stand is my ultimate Led Zep track.

I met the band Alice In Chains in 1990 they were touring with Extreme, I was there to watch Nuno and left an Alice In Chains fan. I remember the crowd that day and maybe 1 person in the crowd knew who they were. However, I had just met them. I walked in during sound check to get a beer. They were on stage and I had no idea who they were. I introduced myself and I spent the next couple of hours with them. I have front row and center pictures. Most of them are online somewhere. I never wanted anything out of them, I just wanted to make sure everyone saw them. Layne gave me a cassette that day in 1990 and everyone except Sean signed it. I have tried to get someone from the Alice In Chains community to let me send what I have to them, to be put in an AIC museum. I want nothing from the flier, the tape or my pictures, I just want the fans to see the stuff I have, so it gets saved forever.

I used to have the vhs with The Nona Tapes on it many years ago. I like that they did something like that again. It's good to get REAL perspective on the band. Showing not only what they are about as people but what the people think, fans or not.

This Video just fucking rules.... I've been a fan of Alice In Chains since your albums came out. I've seen this many times and had a laugh with it. I love it. You do keep the spirit of Layne around in your new music and I really appreciate it. I know he was a super talented artist and man with a great heart. Its always very touching to sing some of your songs along because I do imagine the times you've been through. Great Band! Probably one of my lifetime favorites. :D ImI yeah man!

This was, by far, the funniest thing I've seen from AiC! I've been lucky enough to spend a few moments with Sean, and he drips humor from his lovely lips like a dog drooling over a bone. They outdo themselves every day, with music, lyrics, video, and wit. I just can't get enough!

Sure helps that Jerry is friends with like everybody lol, the lineups of people for his solo records are loaded as fuck, Inez/Kinney Rex brown of pantera, Les claypool, John Norwood fisher of fishbone, trujillo and bordin and even Chris Degarmo of Queensryche played on a deg trip track, Duff from GnR, Tyler bates, Greg puciato, Gil sharone, gabe laboriel who is Paul McCartney’s drummer. Absolutely insane list of people on his solo records, Jerry is one of the most respected dudes in the business
