    I made this keyboard with Oil King switches, pc plate, all foam, spacebar foam, retro MDA MX keycaps.
    Lemme tell you, it fucking THOCKS bro.
    This keyboard is absolutely amazing: perfect gaskets, optimizable spring mounts, 5 pin hotswap, comes with full foam, good stabilizers (need lube), flex cut pcb, flex cut plate, different plate materials, full aluminum case, absolutely gorgeous design,...
    Man this is truly my endgame keyboard for an incredible price

      I can relate to this! The SPR75 is still a daily driver in my household, the latency is too amazing to not use it as much as possible! ^-^ Also looks very good too!

      @@thoccnology I believe akko has a version of this keyboard which has the little screen in place of the brass piece. Do you know if its possible to simply remove the metal piece and put in the little screen?

    • @thoccnology
      @thoccnology  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Griemz Oh they do? This metal badge has screws, so if you can find pics/vids about the screen to see if it has screws too, I think they can be replaced easily!

    Wow! What a premium build and an even more premium video. It’s a greatly crafted keyboard but I’m actually surprised that at this price it has no RGB or Wireless (tri-mode) capabilities.
    As for sound profile, it’s a little too clacky for my liking. But hey, lots of stuff in the keeb’n business is subjective and personal preference!
    I hope to start my own channel soon and start reviewing. I find your videos inspiring.

    • @thoccnology
      @thoccnology  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's so true, I couldn't agree more! Still, I really appreciate that we can share our thoughts and preferences, so thank you for sharing your opinion! :-)
      I was also surprised to see that it has only Wired mode - considering the Wired latency performance, the 2.4G could have been mind-blowing as well!
      Would love to see your reviews, don't hesitate to start your own channel - you can stop anytime, but not starting at all can turn into a life-long regret. Also - making videos is fun~! ^^

      @@fahryst Oh, nice! :) If you allow me one advice: definitely experiment with a foamless build combined with the lightest spring. It's so much fun! ^-^ (Of course, with caution, not to damage or short circuit the PCB, but the latter can be avoided by using the included thin plastic layer ;))

    I noticed on the google doc that the Latency is higher than in the video, did you retest your SPR75 and get different results?

    • @thoccnology
      @thoccnology  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it happened unfortunately. I re-measured several previous tests, and the SPR75 turned out to be a slighlty bit slower than previously measured - still very good for gaming! Sorry for the mistake!

    for a flex-cut pcb, design will it be easy to break for switching different switched occassionly ?

    • @thoccnology
      @thoccnology  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've never had issues luckily because of any thin, flex-cut PCBs, I feel it'd be a bigger issue with a plateless build (which I don't prefer), this way the first point of contact and the bearer of the force will be the plate.
      But nonetheless, it's a good thing to keep in mind - better to be cautious than sorry.

      It's very hard to say, they might get the PCB with completely different specs/made of different parts. I'd like to believe they paid just as much attention to the SPR67 as to the SPR75 though! :)

    Wow, almost made me want to cancel my order of the Asus Azoth to get this, until I hear the sound test. It doesn't sound as great its build quality might suggest. Its clack quality actually sounds a bit hollow when it's allowed to "sing", but when you put all the foam in then it sounds kind of dead.

    • @thoccnology
      @thoccnology  ปีที่แล้ว

      For the foams I felt the same! I left it with no foam in the end - also couldn't use it long, my husband declared his claim for the build quite quickly LOL. He seems to love the hollow-clacky profile. :-)

    The pipe tape mod for stabs is inefficient IMO, been there, didn't like it. The problem is you have to change the pipe tape regularly quite often, since it's easily ripped off with daily use, and once the tape is gone, you'll get the rattle snake noise again. With just using a lube, it will last longer, and you don't need to adjust the stab as often as the pipe tape mode.

    • @thoccnology
      @thoccnology  ปีที่แล้ว

      I see your point - although I experienced that only lubing the stabs doesn't last as long with me (I think it's because of temperature differences which makes the lube disappear easier)
