    I'd never heard this blues until unplugged. It was totally revelatory. It fit perfectly as an opening tune. The original on TH-cam is such a gift. This is where I hope to get to one day. Until then I'll keep thumping my thumb.

    Super useful lesson. Do you sing? It doesn't really matter. You play like a boss, so even if you sing like a drain, it would still be an added bonus if you would demo where the lyrics fall as you play through the song.

    This is a long shot but I gotta ask...while (me) playing the piano at the "Cosmo" back in 2010 in 'Old Town San Diego, I met and talked to a lot of good folks that were either passing through, or were just locals, a youngster approached me and wanted to know if I would be interested in getting together and jam, and see what would transpire ? You bare a strong resemblance to that feller, plus it was a long time ago! He never came back, that's all I'm saying. Plus, I really like how you set up the chords in chronological order as they should appear,,,that's good thinking !! Thanks !

      Hi Stuart! I use D'Addario Phosphor Bronze 12 - 53. I experiment often with nails vs tips but currently just picking with the finger tips. I like shorter nails in daily life :) Thanks for the question. Cheers!

    • @BluesGuitarInstitute
      @BluesGuitarInstitute  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Nicole! I'm glad you brought that up. It's a big issue for alot of players, I think finding the right balance of grip is key. Most of us tend to squeeze way to hard..I know I used to do that but now I try to play with a much lighter touch (helps me play longer too!). Cheers!
