The EX could be for EXTRA. As in, this is another RX-78-2 to test out whether it fits better with mobility or firepower.

Love the Gatling gun on the shoulder, I’m a sucker for shoulder mounted Gatling guns and shoulder mounted weapons in general. Hope we get the rest of the red wolves revealed soon. This one is probably my least favorite of the bunch.

Seams to be a sniper version of the standard beam ruffle

Perhaps the beam sabers can be combined into the beam javiln, just like the Rx 78

With how slim and light armored the Gundam is it reminded me of the RX-78-1 that had less armor than the classic one, also glad I'm not the only one who thinks villain Gundam looks like a spooky scary skeleton lol

I agree about the Zaku! That is SUPER AWESOME!. As a long time historian and military modeler, I have often thought that one of the problems with the Gundams and Gundam series is that the machines just didn't have that "Hard" military look. Those red, white and blue colors on the Gundam drive me CRAZY! But it looks like for the movie, both machines are going to be more "real world" realistically painted. I will be buying both models when they come out. James Staley, Jones oklahoma
