In this video today we will see how to stop sharing contact between iPhones. If you suddenly start to see contacts appearing in your iPhone that you have not saved then let us see what to do. Now this happens when you use the same apple id on different devices. So what happens is the contacts will be synced and it will appear in your device as well as the other device. So there are two options to do. Either you will remove the apple id from one of the device or else if you want to use the same apple id then what you do is go to "settings". Tap on the name at the top here.
Go to iCloud and you have this option "contacts". Disable this option and you will be asked what you want to do with the previously synced contact in your iPhone that means the contacts that were previously synced from the iCloud and that will save to your iPhone what you want to do with that one. So you have to select this option "keep on my iPhone". So after you do this one then what you can do is you can open the contact application and you can delete those contacts which you don't want and after that what happens your contact will not appear in other iPhone and the contacts that are saved in the other iPhone will not appear in your iPhone also and the other thing is if you have used the same gmail account also in both of the device then you will do the same thing either you will remove gmail account from one of the device or else if you are going to use same gmail account then you will go to "settings".
Go to "Mail". Go to "Accounts" and here you will see all of the gmail accounts that you have used. Suppose this is the gmail account that I have used in both iPhone then what you will do you will open this gmail account and there is an option here "contacts" you will disable this option and if you want to delete all the contacts that were synced from the gmail account and saved to your iPhone. You have to select this option "Delete from my iPhone". You don't have other options. You have to select this option "Delete from my iPhone" and once you select this option the contacts that were synced from the gmail account and that was saved in iPhone will get deleted. So it's up to you what you want to do. So I will select "Delete from my iPhone". So once you do these two things then the contact from the other iPhone will not appear in your iPhone and the contacts from your iPhone will also not appear in the other iPhone.
