These Free Videos are Much Better than Pay TV. 🤔😬👍🙏
Glad you like them
You are 100 percent correct
Wouldn't be a real HVAC video without a broken mirror.
You're a brave man for inserting those valve cores while it's under a vacuum 😀
i would consider and then title this video as a masterclass of pulling deepest vaccume and balancing pressures on "heatpump" units - "deep pumpin"!
The OCD tech in me is telling me that there is something wrong with the existing refrigerant in there, that charge did not seem correct to me. the fact that the subcooling wasn't really changing and the superheat was low after running for a while is giving me mixed thoughts. Still a job well done though, Curtis.
70F indoor air in heat mode and 366 is high? I stopped playing with refrigerant charge 15 years ago. Weight it IN.
Another happy client.
Good job, Watching you reinforces what I had planned to do to mine and gives me the confidence to tackle mine tomorrow AM. Good video. Thank You...
Good job as always!! Btw. Like that red shirt it really stands out with your logo. Sort of a comfortable method of free advertising 😅. Take care of that hand!
Thanks!
Nice new bag Curtis you should do a tour video of it and your thoughts on the bag so far.
Well done job Curtis, and a nice clear quality vid 👍 Au
Thanks
Good job Curtis on the repair enjoyed it thanks for the video

@@HVACGUY anytime 😊 I juat got a acutlene torch no oxygene just acytelene I like it better 😊😊 got a btank !!
Nice job!
Thanks!
Okay I think I’m getting it now. When doing a pump down if pressures not changing or if pressures not dropping at all The TXV Faulty or Plugged.
Not exactly
Job well done Curtis
Thanks
Wonder why the subcooling was so low in cool mode? Was it because of the outdoor temp being 70?
@@Empty7775maybe. I’ve seen it many a time before system can settle out, or with no load
Sounds like a SpaceX rocket, brazing.
28:44 - Wow! Your probe shot from 189.0 to 241.5 in one update?!o
Will they approve all new refrigerant when replacing an expansion valve?
Hello Curtis
My question is what was the fluid dripping from the lower connection on the TXV removal? Condensation? Oil?
Condensation
👍👍👍
Shouldn't the bulb be horizontal, not vertical?
Most liked micron gauge?
The appion
If this was a drain down and vacuum where is the recovery tank for the Freon and the vacuum pump? Perhaps I blink when watching. Someone please let me know what was the timeline when he talked about that or shared about that. Thks
I thought those refrigerant tanks have check valves so as not to allow flow into tank.
They do. Sometimes they’ll allow a little to bleed by
That hissing sound means it was going into the tank 😉
Shouldnt the sensing bulb be horizontal at 10:00 or 2:00 position on Rheem/Ruud?
What causes the white discoloration on the copper ??
That was an aluminum coil
@HVACGUY wow! Here I only thought they had copper with aluminum learned something new again. Hope your finger is getting better.
Bro props. That's a shitty fuckin spot
seems to be an air flow issue also.
Where is the link for the Hispanic chanel?
At the end the picture of me in a hat is a clickable link to it
You need to use open end wrenches instead of the adjustable
stop with the adjustable wrenchs .try a slighty bigger bag with the proper wrenchs .you will save time and damage to fittings .they should ban adjustables coming from mechanic since 1976 .they should be used only needed
Wrench police have entered the chat.
Channel locks and adjustable wrenches have ruined many fittings and bolts and nuts. Also a lot of knuckles.
That means you don't buy good adjustable wrenches and pump pliers
?????????????????
Ok wrench police 👮♀️😂😂😂
Great job Curtis.
Thanks
