What if alastor wants to go to heaven because he is tired of being feared by others. Hear me out. When most people think of alastor they think the radio demon and like you said he prefers to go by his real name yes he does like seeing other people suffer but what if he victims were bad people or are bad people? He never mentions his father, he's a mama's boy, and I think he's was mixed his mother is black and his father is white. What if his father abused him and his mother and his mother was beaten to death .I think he was alastor's first kill his father. Now I think he became a radio host so he could find criminals and kill them and has to survive by becoming a cannibal. For an example he saved that goat lady from being killed why didn't he kill her? I think that alastor knows that she was rejected by God just like him and he hates seeing some people being suffer by OP people
@@ButterflyBlossom6415 I do think his mom was the closest person to him?? So probably? But it's impossibile bc Alastor said *he didn't care about heaven or hell. He's already committed many Crimes and sinned
Well if he attempts to get into heaven, I imagine it will have the same storyline as the redemption of Black Manta (I think that’s his name?) from Sponge Bob. In that episode, Black Manta is unfrozen and he wants to do evil, but the tickle belt he wears prevents him from going too far. Eventually, when it comes off, he tries to cause chaos again, but since he’s been conditioned against it, he habitually tortures himself with tickles and is unable to cause evil. Charlie may make Al see something, or someone in himself, and cause a similar revelation. Where his initial plan is to wreak havoc in heaven for his own personal entertainment, he instead puts his sights on truly becoming a better person... releasing debted souls, helping out Charlie, and going to heaven to, potentially, see his mother... one last time.
I think Alastor has been rather truthful with his plans. He is there to just watch everything go wrong. When someone is that powerful you really don't have to lie to get what you want. I kinda get the feeling that the underlying motive is more towards Charlie. Alastor was instantly drawn to her in the pilot from her little performance. It feels like he is more interested in seeing if he can corrupt Charile or a the very least watch the optimism in her just die. Just seems more in character for someone who's primary joy comes from the pain of others.
Perhaps he has slightly more respect for women than he does men? I was thinking what if he only killed other males. In one comic he is shown, somewhat, protecting a female lamb from being slaughtered. The butcher is male, a lot of men are seen running from him too earlier. But the ladies? They were happy to see him and he said to send his regards to Rosie a [debateably] semipowerful female demon. He was also more civil to Charlie and Vaggie than to AngelDust in the pilot too.
@@PureEnragement Possible. Could be partially because he is from the 20's and they had different dynamics back then. But, while he was somewhat civil to Vaggie he did also mistreat her. There are a number of moments in the pilot where he treats her like an elbow rest or shoves her roughly out of the way. Also, if you notice in his song there is a moment where he groups everyone together that isn't charlie and "scares/threatens them" with his voodoo doll demons? Not sure what to call them. So it does seem like he is trying to isolate Charlie for some reason. The whole only killing men thing would lead me more towards him being gay. Generally serial killer's victims, except for rare occasion, are the gender they are attracted to. Thus a straight serial killer normally goes after the opposite sex whereas a gay killer would go after the same sex. I know vizipop said he is asexual so he could just be one of those special moments with a 1920's moral code but until we get more who knows. Fun to think about though.
@@PureEnragement From other theories, I think Alastor is a gentleman, however he does have evil intentions against everyone, so he only shows mercy for women perhaps
I’m still not convinced that Alastor’ actually wants to help considering his prideful personality and what we know about him he literally said he wants to see Charlie to “crumble down into the deepest pit of failure”
I'm fairly certain that Alastor won't do anything... Yet. Like he said, he thinks what Charlie's trying to do is foolish and impossible, but it's entertaining. So I don't think he'll do anything other than slightly help and accompany them on the way. But if and when things will start going well for Charlie and her hotel, he'll try stopping them OR start believing in redemption and try to use her to get into Heaven and... I don't know? Rule it? Create chaos? Drag others to hell if even possible? But then against, I'm assuming God is still the most powerful one sooooo I don't think he can do too much. Maybe he won't even be able to pass.
Thought what if Lucifer knows the hotel won’t work, being a fallen angel. This leads him to stop Charlie from getting her hopes up by hiring Alastair to sabotage the hotel. Lucifer most likely told him to do what ever he likes as no harm befalls Charlie and the hotel fails.
0:58 there's a theory that Alastor, since he looks directly at the screen and not Vaggie, was actually telling us as the watchers that he could ruin everything if he wished but we're lucky to catch him on a good day
My personal theory is that when he was human, all of Alastor's victims where people who were just as bad if not worse then he was (his behavior in the prequal comic seems to imply that he doesn't go after the defenseless). If true, then it would make sense if his goals are a bit more benevolent.... while also just being a sadistic (controlled) sociopath for his own amusement
In the comics, Alastor does save this sheep demon from the butcher because he goes around killing the defenseless and he doesn't like that. That it's like "tainted meat"
Alastor specifically said he does not care for heaven or hell at all and there is no undoing of what is done he seems completely content spending his time on the infernal abyss despite the fact that he is bored to death in hell quite so
I wonder if he's going to use Charlie to get to Lucifer in some way. To either blackmail Lucifer to gain his power and declare himself king of hell or to blackmail him into doing what he wants (a cannibal ring of hell? The ability to go back to the human world on a whim? The ability to have conversations in heaven?). But I really feel like that's a huge angle that hasn't really been mentioned or explored. It's possible it's not Lucifer he's using Charlie to get to and it's Lilith for some reason. In a lot of Legends Lilith became the first vampire or the first succubus so it's possible since she eats people too that he's just into her like a fanboy kind of thing. Idk lots of directions this could go

Alastor trying to get into heaven was once a thought that crossed in my head but it’s very difficult seeing it that way since in the Alastor comic he seemed to enjoy his time in hell and he could do things that in heaven you couldn’t do! *Raw fun and exciting entertainment!*
@@ButterflyBlossom6415 I've always had it in the back of my mind that he's going to try and convince Charlie to abdicate the throne in favor of someone who knows what they're doing. AKA Alastor
And honestly, I consider him already a villain, but a very unique one, as he told Charlie of his true intent (to some extent as I'm sure he didn't go into 'full details') of why he's helping her.
@@madisonatteberry9720 I wouldn't call him unique, since villains along his line do exist. But yeah definetly uncommon. I do agree with you though, he's a villain. I do find it interesting though that he wants to make a deal with Charlie, so maybe he wants that just to stick it to lucifer or something along those lines.
@@quendi5557 But what if.....Alastor was actually employed by Lucifer to make sure Charlie dose not succeed? I mean, he is 'the King' and other are Hell 'Lords' and if, somehow, Charlie dose find a way to redeem Demons, well, what's Royalty without their subjects?
@@madisonatteberry9720 wasn't it said somewhere that they just avoid each other? Or at least don't really interact much. Also I doubt Alastor would work for someone else without something that that he wants to do coinciding with it. There is also his thing with making a deal with Charlie.
One fact from one of the live streams is that Alastor had a moral law when it comes to killing his victims such as he would never kill a child and apparently he never went after a victim that managed to run away.
@@gingerdudebut only for his own gain and if the child would be hurt or something like that Alastor wouldn't care. And it's not true that he wouldn't hurt woman Vaggie is woman and he hitted Vaggie he always pushed her
When it comes to the whole deer thing with Alastor that maybe while hunting/chasing his latest victim he was dressed similar to that of a deer which lead to him getting shot by the hunter because said hunter thought Al was a real deer or the victim ran to the hunter and warned/plead for help from them while Al was not dressed as a deer or not. As for the magic and possible crimes I think Alastor is indeed a cannibal as we know from comics, he hunted his victims with voodoo magic as a way to track, trick and or trap them before he kills them. He is known to make deals so he could have used said magic to trap people in contracts that could lead to the victims to be unable to pay up/keep their end of the bargain for whatever reason and gave Al an excuse to kill them and eat them.
I feel like Alastor is more powerful than we all grant him, he legitimately broke the 4th wall when he looked at us instead of Vaggie, I seriously think he would want to go to heaven for revenge if it’s possible, you may disagree with me but I think he just says he doesn’t care to let everyone off guard
Well he has a lot of balls to brake the 4th wall but it’s most likely to his entertainment a 4th dimensional being would put him in the dirt in a blink of an eye just like Bill from gravity falls he’s the perfect example of a dimensional being and he’s not even 4th dimensional he’s 2nd dimensional.
@@archangelwarrior9816 the fourth wall has nothing to do with being 4D Bill Cipher is 4D canonically you said Bill was only 2D but he quite literally ascended above his own dimension and nobody compared Bill to Lucifer(though he probably one shots Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel)
2:26 ok but I have a theory about these two overlords birds, the one with two heads are the overlord of the theater industry, and the other could be: pop music, idols, or fashion, that's the vibes I get from their clothes
I really want people to talk about the other overlords..loke torpultar, zestial and lord ghost Also lord ghost is that guy right next to alastor...he is the skeleton..i hope viv talked about these guys
I can't find the original comment but one theory I saw for why Alastor has his power is that he seems to be a practicing voodoo man (literally). According to the OP a lot of the symbols that show up when Al does his "I wOuLd'Ve DoNe So AlReAdY" match up with actual voodoo symbols meant so sort of summon the various important spirits of the voodoo world and allow them to temporarily possess you for access to incredible power. Not only that but we see numerous instances of stitching in his clothes (1:15 for reference in this video) and even on his mouth in the freeze frame of his reality distortion. The stitching seems like an obvious reference to voodoo dolls, so maybe Al gets his power by allowing himself to act as a vessel for the voodoo spirits. All of this, when taken into consideration with the fact that Al is from Louisiana seems to line up nicely in terms of how he gets his powers.
Here's my theory on how he died. Similar to how you said he was shot by a hunter, but only to make sure he died after getting attacked by the hunter's dog(s). Since some hunters use dogs to chase deer towards them. The hunter either shot him to put him out of his misery or found one of Al's kills and decided to take the law into their own hands.
I really think he's just doing it out of amusement. In the comic he tries to say hello to the two demons who are watching him, but they immediately run away once he acknowledges them. So maybe he likes having all the power he does and striking fear into Hell's denizen's, but the scary overlord persona he's built up is getting kind of stale to him and maybe he's also possibly lonely. He has no one willing to challenge him or even engage in conversation with him so he's definitely bored and in desperate need of some entertainment and socialization. Helping Charlie with the hotel is probably another thing for him to do in the meantime while getting the added benefit of companions more or less.
I have a small theory. So we know that Alistor doesn’t entirely care for power, but he does enjoy the suffering of others. We also know that he makes deals, right? I doubt that it was by pure chance that him and the crew met up, but rather either Charlies mom, or even her dad, made a deal with Alistor for him to either… A: Destroy Charlies dreams so that she can rise to become a heartless ruler and take the position of her father. B: Protect her from danger, which could explain the theory that IMP was sent to kill her or will attempt to. C: A mixture of both to create a ruler that relies on themselves and grows to become the strongest of the demons. These are just small little ideas. Do I have evidence of this stuff? No. Am I just throwing out ideas in the hopes that I’m somehow right? Yes. Should I stop talking? Infinity times yes.
Probably not. The axeman was active in 1911-1919, while Alastor died in 1933 in his thirties. Meaning that he would've been a child during the axeman's active years. Besides Vivzie said that she wanted to avoid real life events as much as possible.
@@angel.r508 yeah i was about to say “op is probably joking” because there’s no way they would add real life events, as a gruesome REAL killer. “Story deals with no real events, names, and timelines. Coincidences” something like that pops up before starting a chapter on idk webtoon
I always thought Alastor's target was Charlie someone as innocent as her is such a rarity in hell that he wants to see her fall from her innocence down into despair.
With his character archetype I can’t imagine him becoming a main antagonist.... it’s like the case of Paper Mario where they have Bowser as part of their party. Maybe there will be moments of suspicion, hints that he is doing something behind the scene, but ultimately he doesn’t have any particular goals as far as we can tell
Speaking of comparing him to Mario characters, have you seen Fatguy703's Book of Mario mod? It's a google translated mod of the game that completely changes the story. In Thousands of Doors (the translated version of The Thousand Year Door) Koops becomes Carbon, a homicidal maniac with a god complex bent on killing his father and taking over cities. I think of Alastor as kind of like that, a killer with his own motives and ambitions that just happen to conveniently align with the other characters, so he tags along for the ride. He has no animosity towards the others, and he helps them along the way, but overall he doesn't let that get in the way of his ultimate goal.
Odd thought, when Alastor gets mad/scary his eyes look like a clock at roughly 1:05, could this be referencing the doomsday clock? He's so scary that the clock is set AFTER midnight?
Man, how would he prep him though? Like, obviously Jambalaya would be his first choice, but with what spices, veggies... what would god even taste like?
If I may, I think vivzi actually altered his death to be dog related instead of shot by a deer hunter. Other than that nice set of theories! I myself really like the thought that he wants to see his mother.
Some deer hunters use dogs to run the deer towards where the hunter is waiting to ambush. It’s not as common as it use to be, but it was a pretty popular way to hunt back in the day. A pack of hunting dogs could have chased him to a hunter, leading to him being shot. Hence his form resembling a deer.
@@reabright7307 my theory is in 1933 he was shot but didn't die directly but got mauled by those dogs the minutes after while he was dying. Basically the last thing he saw was dogs attacking him. That would explain his hate for dogs.
Not really Hazbin Hotel but I've got a question - In the Helluva boss trailer there's a clip where Blitz shoves Moxie to the floor. If you look closely there's this weird glowing circle behind them on the wall, got any ideas on what that could be?
Could just be a light, or a moon/sun shining through a window. But something I noticed is that Blitz is looking away from Moxxie, so he might be getting him out of the way of something. Maybe someone coming back for revenge, like the cherubs or maybe even Striker
@@AttackWaffle True. Maybe some sort of creature looking in through a window or a portal to the surface that the I.M.P. gang were prevented from entering by someone
There's a theory that Alastor has a very strong moral compass. Going by that, it's more likely that Alastor is being completely honest about wanting to watch people fail at becoming better people, and will intentionally sabotage anyone who looks like they might be coming close to succeeding because...well, they're already in Hell. Al most likely thinks all Sinners deserve their place in Hell, hence why he wants to be involved with the hotel - to keep them exactly where they are.
Redeeming a person that has sinned could be redeemed, it mostly varies on what the sinner has done, if they regret it, and if they want to redeem themselves.
I think Alastor is Interested in the Happy Hotel because of Charlie's relation with Lucifer, may be he wants to defeat him using his daugther, even if they respect each other, knowing how deadly Alastor is, I would be not suprised 💀
No I don't really think so since lucifer is an fallen angel so al is deminion to lucifer. Even though charlie seems to be weak she is still a fallen angel, she has some kind of hidden powerful power but she hides it because of her morals. If Alastor want to actually kill lucifer he would still need to somehow cross rings because lucifer might switch rings to avoid being assassinated if al actually did have more power than an fallen angel.
If Alastor tries to go to heaven, it is because he does it for a reason, he tries to cause chaos and fear towards the inhabitants of Heaven or he tries to kill someone there.
@@ButterflyBlossom6415 I think that Al wouldn't want to go there at all. He enjoys life in Hell and doesn't believe in demon redemption. Furthermore, his mother is in Heaven, and if he meets her there then she will see the monster that he turned into and all the horrible things he's done. Al, being a Mama's boy, wouldn't want such a thing. Finally, if Al wants to disrupt and destroy Heaven, he just won't get there 'cause to get to Heaven you really need to redeem your sins and not be hiding any second thoughts.
As a guy who’s from New Orleans… They got him spot on with the old New Orleans style. The speech pattern, the suit, the voodoo, everything was on point
Damn the thought of idea that he want to try and fight God would be too crazyyy. Even though that viv said that Alastor is smart enough that he knows when to back off in a fight. But damn getting the idea of saying, oh I put a scratch on god and survived, that's sa reputation sinners would respect
Maybe he has a deal with either Lilith or Lucifer to protect Charlie since she's inviting dangerous demons into the hotel and she would want to hurt them
@@shyloandromeda4470 I think not, because when Charlie sings about hotel you can see him genuinely interested... it will be different if after protect Charlie he charge the services with her dad XD
Lucifer don't do deal Human annoyed him to much so He basicaly stop to responding to mortal phone call for stupid service And he would not act like that with Charlie and the happy hotel And wouldn't let some powerfull demon try to sabotage it Also he could just have done this project himself it would be more effective, have more impact and he would have more control on it
I am 100% on board with the theory that they just want to see their family. I feel like that's where Vivzie can yse purgatory! Kind of like visiting in prison. They can't travel back to hell or heaven together, but there's enough to do in Purgatory, so they are happy spending time together. This opportunity would be around Halloween, like a gateway, once a year.
Tbh Alastor wanting to see his mother makes sense since he constantly mentions his mother how she was good and how she taught him some recipes yada yada.
I have a theory on Alistor's grand plan, and why exactly he seems to be pursuing Charlie. (Don't quite know if this is an original theory, inform me if you've seen a similar theory.) Alistor has been seen deliberately antagonizing Vaggie and literally pushing her out of the camera shot, keeping the spotlight firmly on him and Charlie _alone,_ and even his mild interference has caused Charlie to go against Vaggie's valid recommendations. His antaginization of Vaggie also likely serving as a source of tension between Charlie and her, Vaggie being fed up with Alistor and Charlie routinely letting him into their lives. He doesn't seem particularly annoyed with Charlie's refusal to make a deal with him, to me it seems like something of a needless formality considering he just helps her out anyway. This isn't due to her title, because everyone in Hell knows Charlie is far too nice of a person to actually force her will onto others despite her ludicrous power, being a literal spawn of Satan. I believe this pattern of manipulation will continue throughout the show, Alistor slowly driving a wedge between Charlie's best friends and closest allies. Considering Alistor was made by Vizzy when she was going through a toxic relationship, (or maybe it was Angel, correct me if I'm wrong,) Alistor could represent a manipulative significant other. Alistor could want to control Charlie for three reasons, according to this theory. 1) He wants the walking nuclear weapon that is Charlie in his pocket, because despite his power and disliking of Vox, he can't take on the three V's (Val, Vox, and their kid) alone, and anyone he talks to hates him or runs for the hills in terror. So Hell's daughter, who has been said by Vizzy herself to be able to mop the floors with Alistor, would be handy in bringing down Vox. 2) He wants to break her down purely for his own amusement, as he somewhat says in the HH pilot when talking about his belief sinners can't be redeemed. Imagine he actually helps Charlie get the business going, though eventually manipulates Charlie (the brains of the operation) into being unable to effectively run the hotel. Seeing her tumble down the hill of her goals would be incredibly amusing for Alistor, along with everyone who followed her she would be knocking over on the way down, from Vaggie to Angel Dust. Let's not forget he also enjoys seeing those in power knocked off their thrones, so a literal princess of Hell getting an apocalyptic wake up call would be _stupendous_ for the Radio Demon. 3) Despite the belief that Lucifer and Lilith don't really care about their daughter, Alistor could be betting that this seeming lack of care is a ruse of sorts and is trying to gain a foothold into the door of Hell's highest royalty, perhaps even looking to put a knife in Satan's back. As crazy as that is. It has been stated Satan and Alistor have respect for one another. Or it could even be a combination of all three of these theories! He could want the walking nuke shooter that is Charlie at his arm, seeing the royalty of Hell fall off their high horse, and their daughter lying broken before him and at his mercy. All Hail King Alistor, lord of the Seven Rings! While I'm a part of the HMS Charlistor, I would *not* want to see these two together! For those of you who point out Vizzypop has informed the community Alistor is an aromantic asexual, this might still hold if Alistor isn't pursuing Charlie for romantic or sexual desires, instead pursuing the princess of Hell for the reasons I have displayed here. (Can someone in the comments confirm or deny if this reasoning would allow Alsitor to keep his sexuality where it is?) This is Alistor's master stroke! The end to his crachendo! To Summarize: All hail King Alistor!
I think Alastor is in a win-win situation. Either A: He legitimately gets entertained by sinners failing to get into Heaven or B: He gets proven wrong and he can still potentially benefit from it in some way.
Aight hear me out, i think Alastor might want to go to Heaven for two reasons. 1. What if he's just tired of Hell and wants something new And 2. Cmon Alastor's a mama's boy, he wants to see his mother but might be afraid of what she'll think
I think alastor wants to catch Charlie at her lowest something he can only do if he’s around to help and then make a deal with her allowing him to gain a serious upper hand on all hell yet alone the pride ring. Again he could only achieve this if he’s helpful and trusted by her and her entourage and he’s shown he’s incredibly patient
I honestly think Alastor would hate heaven. The impression I get from everything so far is heaven is straight laced, bureaucratic and orderly. Someone like Alastor, who bores with routine, would be driven senseless in that kind of environment. He would be driven to inject a little chaos into it no matter how good a person he was. That brings me to another theory I have relating to the comic with Vaggie and becoming a demon but on the off chance I'm right I don't want to ruin it for anyone lol
interesting ideas! despite this video being about alastor, i would like to point out the mention of angel dust's family and that viv has said in streams that the song "mama" by MCR reminds her of angel dust. i get so messed up thinking about these boys with their mommas!!
I have my own theories regarding Alastor based on ideas brought out by other fans and my own imaginings. Apologies for the length. 1. Alastor's Origin, Fall, and the Source of his Power: It's been stated that Alastor is from New Orleans and is probably of Creole descent and therefore an ethnic mix. We also know he died back in the early 1930s and was/is devoted to his mother. I have wondered if his mother was actually a Voodoo priestess or mambo who usually plays a nurturing role to her community of believers. Alastor would have been brought up in that faith. I have wondered also if his father might have been a wealthy and influential white man who supported Alastor and his mother under the practice of placage with Alastor's mother being the man's mistress. As the offspring of this, Alastor's education would have been provided for, even though Alastor would never been officially recognized as his father's son. Perhaps this is how Alastor was able to arise as a prominent radio host/personality. Things went fine as long as Alastor and his mother "remembered their place". I suspect that at some point they became too visable and therefore were a perceived threat to the father's standing in society and therefore threatened him and his official family. Perhaps this was partially because of Alastor's rise as a public figure. Anyway, I suspect that his father and his supporters might have decided to try and "eliminate the problem". Permanently. I think he may have successfully killed his mother, but failed to kill Alastor. In rage and grief at his mother's death, perhaps a latent darkness in Alastor woke up as a desire for revenge. He turned to the darker side of Voodoo and became a bokor or sorcerer and might have struck a deal with an unknown infernal power. He proceeded to use these powers to slaughter (and eat) those responsible for his mother's death and attempts on his own life. During this he also discovered his literal taste for carnage, especially as a creature of revenge targeting those who prey on the innocent or weak. Like Hannibal Lector, I think he eats them as a sign of contempt. It was mentioned somewhere early on that Alastor might have been killed as a deer by a dog and hates dogs as a result. I wonder if this could be because Alastor eventually was caught by men pursing him for his crimes and he shape-shifted into a deer to flee but was wounded by his pursuers and killed and torn apart by the dogs they had with them. 2. Alastor's Designs in Hell and at Hazbin: After his death, Alastor awoke in Hell as a demon of power "such as Hell has never seen" in a fallen mortal soul. I have wondered if, in his mortal life, Alastor might gave sold his soul to Lucifer himself. Lucifer saw the potential Alastor's dark powers might have in Hell by "quietly" - meaning horrifically slaughtering- demons that interfered with Lucifer's plans, maintaining order through fear. Another possible story here, related to something I read on a fan story, is that Alastor became a thorn in Lucifer's side with his slaughter of the existing Overlords and the resulting terrified cries for help from Hell's populace. Lucifer slapped Alastor down and nearly killed him but then offered his own deal to Alastor in exchange for sparing him: to become the one thing Lucifer had never had-a friend. Alastor agreed and his relationship with Lucifer has grown and become one of respect. Either way, I have wondered if Lucifer quietly sent Alastor to watch over Charlie and her little family at Hazbin Hotel. Whatever OTHER motives Lucifer and Alastor might have are definitely a subject for debate. Perhaps Lucifer actually does want to see Charlie succeed and get souls redeemed. Perhaps he actually wants to see heaven-dwelling souls brought to Hell as an "in your face" to God or because he actually feels that Hell is preferable since it accepts souls as they are. There is the viewpoint that Lucifer was actually the champion of man's free will and being true to one's self no matter how dark that might be, while he saw God as hypocritical by granting man that free will, but then expected blind unquestioning obedience to enter His kingdom. These motives might also fit for Alastor as well, though I expect their ultimate goals/desires might be many and convoluted. I could see "my" version of Alastor as simply getting a relief from boredom by seeing sinners either fall or ascend. I could see him also getting a kick out of thumbing his nose at God which he does by either helping the unredeemable be redeemed... Or having the redeemed fall. I doubt he wishes to directly challenge and destroy God, both because he knows he would fail, and defeating God and overthrowing Heaven would remove a source of entertaining distraction. Thanks for bearing with me and I look forward to reading everyone else's thoughts and watching other great videos from the Hasbin/Helluva universe.
I think Alastor was shot in the throat causing his voice to sound like it’s coming from a radio I would also go as far to say that he may only be able to talk through radio frequencies which is why he carries a radio
I feel like there is one reeeeaaaaally big thing that people don't really point out and it's a prospect that is earnestly frightening me. THere is a really good chance people in heaven aren't happy. Picture this. You and your loved one are in a car, going to your favorite spot that you always go to this time of year. It's been a good life, The two of you have poured your hearts out into the world to try and make things better for everyone. Suddenly it happens. A car crash. You lay there in blood and fire, too weak to even move. You stare in your loved ones face, a face youve spent years looking at, and remembering all the smiles you had. Even now you smile, knowing that after you die, the two of you will live forever in the glorious after life. Suddenly, you wake, dressed in gossamer and lace. Your wings flutter on your back and your feet hardly touch the ground. But you are alone. You try to justify it, but nothing sticks. Maybe they live? No, can't be that crash was beyond recovery. Maybe they haven't died yet? No there was too much blood they should have gone before you did. You do everything, everything you can think of that keeps you from accepting the horrifying truth that you now had all of eternity to exist with. they were eternally damned, with no hope of ever seeing you again. How many people could live with that thought? If it was their child, their sibling, their significant other, their parents? Would people be happy with that? Would they just get over it? Does going to heaven mean being pure of heart or just not doing anything bad? Because if it's the former then that means being in heavens might mean you naturally have empathy for others. wouldn't your mind then be consumed by the thought the one you loved most was burning in the eternal fires for all days to come? I think it's the case of alastor that's really going to introduce us to that elephant in the room because to me it's one of the most important questions out there.
There is a phenomenon, that i call "The secrets, that don't need answers". A good example, the name and background history of the Doctor from Doctor Who. Everybody curious, but don't want to know the, because of the nature of the show. It would be better to keep it as a secret forever, and just speculate it. Its just better to have a mystery. And I think, Alastor is that type of character, that could be better, to have secrets forever, because it would keep the mysteriousness of the character.
My theory about Alastor: He's a Radio host then offends a Demonic Cult by accident. Then They abducted him and offered him to a demon Furfur (a deer like demon). Since a lot of records that says Furfur is also a Guardian spirit protecting the forest. He pitied Alastor and thus offered Alastor to work for him with a reward of a powerful voodoo magic. And so he murdered the demonic cult, and developed an ability to transform into a Wendigo and as he kills people. He developed a taste for human flesh (much like a true wendigo). And one night as he hunts for his victims. One of them is a hunter, hunting a deer. Transforming himself into a Wendigo (can't kill with the identity exposed). As he jumps out to the kill, the hunter got startled and shot him by accident, he died. As going to hell, seeing Furfur satisfied with the chaos Alastor caused. He rewarded him with an extended boost in power
Alternative: He was literally a wendigo in his mortal life, and that power absolutely ballooned to a whole new level upon his death. Of course, before becoming a wendigo he'd be a radio-show host.
Or his death could go full circle and be similar to how The Most Dangerous Game ended. Him hunting down someone, then the irony of the hunter becoming the hunted as his would-be victim turned the tables on him. Leading to his death.
Maybe he did certain practices while alive and eating others, maybe he believed that eating another person literally also means consuming there soul or at least forcefully stealing some of their souls power giving him more power. It would also fit the theme of Alastair making deals with others only to gain ownership over them after the deal.
Some things I think about: - What if Alastor has some draw to Charlie he doesn't understand, and he's trying to make sense of this? What could it mean? - What if Alastor wants to get close to Charlie's family for some reason? - Could Alastor somehow devour the soul of someone who achieves redemption, and gain some kind of power from it? - What if he has some plans to use Angel to get at the TV demon?
Alastor wants to see the heroes fall, fail, die trying. He'll help them as long as he wants to and it doesn't negatively impact him. After all, he seeks entertainment. He's been bored out of his mind for decades, and Charlie's initiative is a break from his mundane everyday work. ...I don't think he's going to actively counter them though. He wants to be in the audience, not on the stage . Really,it seems his main goal is to see how this whole thing plays out. He wants to stay tuned .
My thought was that he tries to get into heaven to do the same thing that he did when he appeared in hell. Defeat every supervising creature in heaven and propably just leave
I really like the theory of him being mistaken for a dear and shot. Something that could relate to this theory would be the strange X mark we see on Alastor's forehead for a brief shot, which could symbolise where he was shot
I'm still on the side of the Theory that Alastor is Charlie's dad in disguise. Look at her dad in the portraits... he looks like Alastor with a different cane, cheap voice filter and makeup. The disguise would be a way to help and support her... but not as an authority figure.
I am not convinced by the second theory. As Vivziepop said herself, though he is a serial killer, Alastor is quite a principled man, and refuses to chase his victims if they manage to escape him because of some moral code of his. Chasing a former victim from hell to heaven seems out of character. But I kinda like the first one ! He's a real mama's boy after all !
It's not confirmed that Alastor definitively wouldn't chase a victim who managed to escape him. - Alastor's portrayal suggests he sees others as prey/playthings more than actual people. So letting a target go easily does not fit his sadistic character. - However, his motives seem more about mental/emotional torture than raw pursuit/killing alone. So it's possible he may find new amusement in toying with an escaped target over time rather than chasing immediately. His predatory nature implies a willingness to harass/pursue targets indefinitely if still finding amusement, but ultimate tendencies remain ambiguous without more canon details. Fan interpretations should not be stated as confirmed. And It's not confirmed that Alastor was mama's boy some people say it was but it's only words not proofs and also Alastor is potrayed as someone who feels no genuine emotional connections or empathy. He maybe rather care about his mother congivitely
I can see something of the sort like a prison. Where the Hazbin Hotel and Heaven come to an agreement that Angel's or demons can visit on or the other world to see their loved ones and families, then would go back to their respective worlds. Just like a call you can make at a prison, or maybe a visit. Not letting the person out but allowing them to see their family as well
I don't understand the symbolism exactly. But the repeat symbols that appear during the distortion seem to be relevant and not talked about. There is the obvious Fleur-de-lis. Related there is that odd hook shape on many symbols similar to the "wings" of the Fluer-de-lis. There is also the Seal of Cagliostro (or something resembling it) in the distortions. As well as plenty of arrows going through intersecting circles and lines, perhaps representing crossroads. Some of those lines ending with the same type of hook shape as described above. I don't know what to make of it. But the symbolism repeats itself similarly throughout all the distortions. It must mean something

I think that alastor knows that she was rejected by God just like him and he hates seeing some people being suffer by OP people
Doesn't alastor only kill abusive and evil people so the person who got away in the theory would be In hell and not heaven
You see what if in the Hazbin universe if you killed almost 90 people and when you die you become a very powerful being?

Lies He WILL see his mom
Knowing Alastor he would only want to go to heaven to cause problems
Also I’m excited to see what his plan will be in the show
Well if he attempts to get into heaven, I imagine it will have the same storyline as the redemption of Black Manta (I think that’s his name?) from Sponge Bob.
As if angels would allow him in the 1st place lol
he probably would have to be in the hotel for a LONG TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME
It would be really entertaining!
He May Want to go to heaven to see is mom, maybe? It’s a possibility.
@@findelhe I don’t think he’s gay (I’m guessing) he showed no interest to angel dust’s “offering” and apparently didn’t care about husk either
Maybe its because shes the daughter of lucifer
I’m still not convinced that Alastor’ actually wants to help considering his prideful personality and what we know about him he literally said he wants to see Charlie to “crumble down into the deepest pit of failure”
He wants to see Charlie fail, I think that's why he is using her
I'm fairly certain that Alastor won't do anything...
I think it has more to do with using Charlie's idea as a vulnerability to ultimately get to Lucifer and have unlimited access to Hell and suffering.
Well... Often the people who say they're the biggest asses and like seeing misery are the nicest ones... But I do think he is honest about his motive.
He said he doesn't actually care, he's just doing it out of sheer boredom
Thought what if Lucifer knows the hotel won’t work, being a fallen angel. This leads him to stop Charlie from getting her hopes up by hiring Alastair to sabotage the hotel. Lucifer most likely told him to do what ever he likes as no harm befalls Charlie and the hotel fails.

One fact from one of the live streams is that Alastor had a moral law when it comes to killing his victims such as he would never kill a child and apparently he never went after a victim that managed to run away.
He'd also never harm women and if he found an abandoned child on the streets, he'd raise it himself until it's able to defend itself. What a man.

It is stated that canonically, Alastor is not going to chase a fleeing victim. He has a strange, but present moral code.

The hunter either shot him to put him out of his misery or found one of Al's kills and decided to take the law into their own hands.

so alastor just kills jerk grown men? good guy
So he's Dexter.
I'm thinking that, not only does Alastor wish to see his mother at least one more time, but perhaps he wants revenge on the man who killed him.
I’d think it be funny if Alastor called I.M.P to kill the guy who shot him
Well Alastor did talk about his mom's cooking at the end of the episode
The "Alastor wants to try killing God" theory is Doom levels of sense but I'm all for it.
I have a small theory.
So we know that Alistor doesn’t entirely care for power, but he does enjoy the suffering of others. We also know that he makes deals, right? I doubt that it was by pure chance that him and the crew met up, but rather either Charlies mom, or even her dad, made a deal with Alistor for him to either…
A: Destroy Charlies dreams so that she can rise to become a heartless ruler and take the position of her father.
So Alastor was a Serial Killer from New Orleans during the Jazz Age and the onset of Radio... is Alastor the Axeman of New Orleans?

Al most likely thinks all Sinners deserve their place in Hell, hence why he wants to be involved with the hotel - to keep them exactly where they are.
Redeeming a person that has sinned could be redeemed, it mostly varies on what the sinner has done, if they regret it, and if they want to redeem themselves.

actually him living in New Orleans when he was alive kinda makes sense of the "wanting to see his mom" theory
As a guy who’s from New Orleans…
They got him spot on with the old New Orleans style. The speech pattern, the suit, the voodoo, everything was on point
Wow this is the earliest I’ve ever seen one of your vids! Yay! LOL
Can you imagine a scene where alestor visits his mother is heaven and he finally drops his smile, 🤩
Damn the thought of idea that he want to try and fight God would be too crazyyy. Even though that viv said that Alastor is smart enough that he knows when to back off in a fight.
But damn getting the idea of saying, oh I put a scratch on god and survived, that's sa reputation sinners would respect
Maybe alistor made deals with Lucifer while alive and hes part of lucifers endgame goal.
That's a possibility
*𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳 (ɢօօɖ ȶɦɛօʀʏ)
Maybe he has a deal with either Lilith or Lucifer to protect Charlie since she's inviting dangerous demons into the hotel and she would want to hurt them
@@shyloandromeda4470 I think not, because when Charlie sings about hotel you can see him genuinely interested... it will be different if after protect Charlie he charge the services with her dad XD
Lucifer don't do deal
Human annoyed him to much so
He basicaly stop to responding to mortal phone call for stupid service
And he would not act like that with Charlie and the happy hotel
And wouldn't let some powerfull demon try to sabotage it
Also he could just have done this project himself it would be more effective, have more impact and he would have more control on it
Did you know the owl house is returning next month and they made a new intro
He probably did
And yet it’s not on Disney + in my country 😢

I am 100% on board with the theory that they just want to see their family.
I feel like that's where Vivzie can yse purgatory! Kind of like visiting in prison. They can't travel back to hell or heaven together, but there's enough to do in Purgatory, so they are happy spending time together. This opportunity would be around Halloween, like a gateway, once a year.
*"God is dead, and I killed him!"*
-Alastor, probably.
Title: is Alastor trying to get into heaven
Alastor: “maybe”
I genuinely think he just wants to watch people work hard and then fall for the fun
This guy: Hazbin Hotel
Subtitles: HaZmAt HoTeL
1. What if he's just tired of Hell and wants something new
And 2.
Maybe he just wants to find an opportunity to make a deal with charlie and use her power against any other demon he couldn't defeat on his own.
The fact this vid has 666 views is beautiful
I don’t think Alastor wants or even deserves to go to Heaven. What would he even do there ? He’s at home in hell.
I don't think alastor gets his power from "consuming" other humans, cause in comic we get to see whole district dedicated to cannibals
Ok
Really interesting theory .
I think Alastor was shot in the throat causing his voice to sound like it’s coming from a radio I would also go as far to say that he may only be able to talk through radio frequencies which is why he carries a radio
Does that technically make him disabled?
I think alastor wants to go to heaven just to mass produce orphans
💀
That's possible
Woah! This is the earliest i have ever been
I think Alastor will eventually become one of the 4 Horsemen, given his power. Pale Horse specifically.
My theory about Alastor:
He's a Radio host then offends a Demonic Cult by accident.
I'm all for the killing God theory, waging war on Heaven just for the sake of it, I can relate to that X)
Or his death could go full circle and be similar to how The Most Dangerous Game ended. Him hunting down someone, then the irony of the hunter becoming the hunted as his would-be victim turned the tables on him. Leading to his death.
Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised.
Great video I love hazbin
the episode came out 2 minutes ago...
Maybe he did certain practices while alive and eating others, maybe he believed that eating another person literally also means consuming there soul or at least forcefully stealing some of their souls power giving him more power. It would also fit the theme of Alastair making deals with others only to gain ownership over them after the deal.
I took one look at Alastor during the pilot and i remember laughing to myself and saying "This guy is gonna f*ck EVERYTHING up."
Are imps always in thier full demon forms?
Imps are hellborn demons. They have no "full" demon form.
Well yes.
Another possibility is that maybe Alastor wants to escape the person that owns his soul
Some things I think about:
- What if Alastor has some draw to Charlie he doesn't understand, and he's trying to make sense of this?
Relatable...
I see what you did there 😉
My thought was that he tries to get into heaven to do the same thing that he did when he appeared in hell.
Alastor doesn't chase running victims, so it's very unlikely he was chasing a victim while he got shot, or killed
And
It's not confirmed that Alastor was mama's boy some people say it was but it's only words not proofs and also Alastor is potrayed as someone who feels no genuine emotional connections or empathy. He maybe rather care about his mother congivitely
Perhaps Alastor wasnt to know the taste of angel flesh. He eats other demons.
I can see something of the sort like a prison. Where the Hazbin Hotel and Heaven come to an agreement that Angel's or demons can visit on or the other world to see their loved ones and families, then would go back to their respective worlds. Just like a call you can make at a prison, or maybe a visit. Not letting the person out but allowing them to see their family as well
Cartoon universe: u should sub. Me: no i don’t think I will
Honestly I love the idea of Alastor wanting to kill God
Watching Hazbin after all the Helluva boss episodes really shows how far the animation has come
I don't understand the symbolism exactly.
