I went to that same island in august in 2021 with my 40-horse fishing boat. It was amazing, I even parked my boat in that same exact spot and left some burnt wood on the island. Glad this video exists

Thanks for your comment. It's a great place, for sure. How was the fishing?

@@PresenceVideography Didn’t really catch anything, neither did other fisherman that I talked to. But I was focused on the view most of the time there:)

@@jacobscapesland5080 thanks for the update. Interesting, FYI en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kachess_Lake name Kachess means "more fish" ... that said, even with crystal clear water I haven't seen any fish there, and that's across multiple kayak trips.

Hi, the video quality was great. I don't see any of these primitive campsites on any website maps like from the US Forrest Service. What are the requirements and fees to camp here? Do you need a permit or pass to camp at any of the primitive campsites along the lake? Is there a way to make reservations, or is it first come first serve? I enjoyed the video thank you!

Thanks. We did a more recent remote kayak camping trip at Kachess Lake in this video th-cam.com/video/lY5fq6P4g8w/w-d-xo.html. This is dispersed camping in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Cle Elum Ranger District and more info here www.fs.usda.gov/activity/okawen/recreation/camping-cabins/?recid=57113&actid=34. No fee or permit needed to camp in these dispersed sites. Just overnight parking at Kachess Campground launch point $10 per night. No reservations. Road to launch point snowed in in winter. This area is known for bears so hang food high in tree, carry bear spray. More in my recent video. Have fun. Be safe.

@@PresenceVideography Thank you for the information reply. Do any other primitive dispersed campsites exist on the South end of the lake? Seems like dispersed camping is allowed along the shoreline wherever a tent can potentially be set up.....right? Thanks

@@ptb-texas6111 I suspect there may be additional primitive dispersed campsites on the south end of the lake, but I've never explored that area so I dont know for sure. I think wherever you can find a suitable open site for camping you can set up, as long as you adhere to the guidelines for dispersed camping at the link I shared previously. You may want to call the Ranger at the Cle Elum Ranger District to double check. You can get their phone number at the previous link I sent. I have found them very helpful with inquiries I've made in the past.

Not at Kachess Lake, but here's a useful resource with forest trails where they are allowed: www.fs.usda.gov/activity/okawen/recreation/ohv/?recid=57113&actid=93
