I don’t know if you are aware of the incredible help it provides. My teacher, Emma Pardo de Donlebun Carmona, recommended your channel to us. I am taking my Certificate B1 exam on june 1st. I want to know all your advice and, if it is posible, I want that you transfer telepathically to me all your english knowledge! One second, I’m going to recover the composure, to brush my hair and to breathe… have I had a heart attack yet or not? No. Ok. It is very comforting for me to watch your videos and understand 95% of what you say. You speak very clearly and always with a smile. Thank you. On the other hand, I would like to know concretely what connectors to use in a formal context and in an informal one. Regarding connectors, it depends what you are writing about, but you could use, In the first place, furthermore, Moreover, Nevertheless, Not to mention, All in all in formal contexts and in informal ones, you could use” Plus”, “ “for starters”, or “besides”. Good luck!!!

I wanted to ask you whether you know about the markers or indicators they use to grade the speaking test, let's say for C1 level, or just in general (don't know whether there're big differences or not depending on the level). HI there Isabel. The reference for correction is found in the correction rubrics. These rubrics can be found in the"guía del candidato" that will be published a little bit before the exam. In these rubrics you will be able to see what categories and aspects are taken into account when correcting a speaking test. Take care!
Dear Monica thanks a lot for your time, I really appreciate your support. I can't understand why you're supposed to get at least 6.5 as a overall mark in order to succeed. Nevertheless, the instructions claim that you're promoting to the next level if you get a 5 but there's no point on that for any free student such as me. If you don't mind i would like to clarify some stuff about the spoken part. Take care I'll be trying B2 as a free student in EOI San Roque which belongs to Estepona, or that's what i guess...

HI Salvador, in Andalucía you can only promote or get your certificate if you get an overall of 6.5. However, if you have a 5 or over in any of the skills, you might compensate with the rest, but you must get a 6.5 total to promote / get your certificate. The EOI San roque doesn't belong to Estepona, it's an independent school in the province of Cádiz. Regards

Your tips help me so much in order to pass the test, so i couldn´t be more grateful. Definitely you got me feel in the gap once again like any younger student :D I have to admit that i couldn´t prepare in detail the exam, because of family issues. But Anyway, I´d probably keep on my studies on C1 with your colleagues of San Roque next year. We´ll keep in touch! Take care
