Absolutely agree she is the most underrated female vocalist but not just her generation. Lisa is one of the best female vocalist of all time. She's may not be in the same genre as Karen Carpenter but she is definitely in the same ranking. Stansfield and Carpenter are the two best female vocalist hands down.
Still love this song so much even it's been 32 years ago. It released when I was in college and it meant a lot to me not only the brilliant music itself but also brought me back sweet memories about love affection. I bought her two albums at that time and listened to them all the times. Love her music and voice and her style a lot, thank you Lisa Stansfield for making the world better and better!!!
