I enjoy how Ryan never get upset all these guys try to play rough with him but he never loses his cool
because Gordon knows hes better than Patrick G.
He is better than everyone..not only does he sub like 80 percent of his opponents, but it's been a while since someone subbed him..people don't even get past guard lol

Gaudio would've been heel hooked like ten times, but heel hooks were not allowed in 2018 :(
that makes sense i figured gordo didn't wanna heel hook and was just using 4/11 to sweep
One might argue that if heel hooks were legal in 2018 he would’ve defended them correctly, but since they weren’t legal he had no reason to react to the threat.

Poor Gaudio. While he's very personable and fun to watch, I don't see a path to victory for him against Gordon. Upsets are still possible, but highly unlikely.

Patrick defended better than most..another minute and he wouldve been finished by RNC or Armbar..Gordon hasnt lost by sub since Pena got him with that RNC on 2016..in 2023 he still hasnt been subbed, and only lost by points to Pena, and Vinny Magalesh..its Roger Gracie with the Gi, but in No Gi competition..so amazing to witness!

terrible analogy, Gordon submission record is extremely high, which is the equivalent of KOs, so he is more like Tyson and Galvao is Mayweather because he gets points then just rides to victory without taking risks.
@@Zhcwu Not terrible at all he takes from both really. He has that finish rate like a Tyson equivalent, but definitely also likeMayweather in terms of technique and just seemingly being impossible to beat now.

@@twoOfThemThangs Technically speaking, they're on par, but Gordon is just a lot heavier at this stage. I chose those guys because they're as heavy and have styles that give Gordon problems

What are you talking about? Gaudio was on the defensive nearly the entire match. Kneeling in half guard and consistently getting put in a compromising leg entanglement, also nearly having his back taken. Please stop, you clearly have a serious bias against Gordon if you think he lost the decision.

Actually it shouldn't have been a decision just a win by 2 advantage one for the near takedown and one for the near backtake at the end , not sure why they only awarded one advantage
