“Give me my dignity. You took my hand… you owe me something.” I love this line because Hook would never have said it to the child version of Peter Pan he knew before.
Misses the point about why he has the hook. Because the crocodile took it and since the Crocodile has a clock inside him it's basically time already has a hold of him which is why he's bitter and resentful. Peter see's that and it's his entire motivation for not growing up and just staying as a child.
@@rainyvideos3684 And yet, not entirely. There's a strong implication throughout this entire movie that Hook so fervently blames Peter for everything that's happened to him and goes after him precisely because he's way too afraid to admit that time has a hold on him and he can't remain the strong captain forever. In fact, the first time we see him in he movie, he's drowning his own pirates in boxes for doubting him, and he's having existential struggles through the entire movie.

What I love about Peter Pan is that I always forget that we were once this playful and everything we imagined was real to us- this story always reminds me that I can still create my own world. Robin Williams was the perfect actor for this because of how he lived his life. When Peter says “I can’t stay and play.
