Joke's aside, please try to get sufficient sleep so you don't experience these blackouts. My father's friend was exhausted while driving home and unfortunately died in a fatal car accident and it's theorized that he was experiencing blackouts from a lack of sleep. He was also recently engaged to his girlfriend and had many plans for the future. Sleep is so important, so please do your best to get enough of it by doing things such as setting up a healthy sleep schedule and not going on electronics before bed.

Something very weird happened to me a few months ago, it must've been one of those "blackouts". I woke up at 6:30 as per usual (no alarm). I got up and then decided to lie down on my bed again. It was 6:30 when i had the blackout, i know because i checked the time seemingly seconds before it was 7:14. It felt so surreal, like, 44 minutes of my life were just a blink? Very odd.
Happened to me too. And it is like you pass out or lose consciousness for a bit. Yet it only feels like 1 second but you look at the clock and it was hours
being sleep deprived isn't just about not sleeping enough, it's also about the QUALITY of the sleep. If your to stressed, snore a lot, have sleep apnea etc, it can also have a huge negative impact and is something you might want to get some help with.
When I want to sleep, but I can’t, I do something boring. Like the classic “count sheep”. But I change it a little 1- I don’t count sheep, I just count from 1 to x 2- i set a goal, like “when I get to 500 i ‘ll sleep” 3- when I get to my goal, in this case 500, I stop counting and try to not think in anything. And then for some reason I get sleepy and in around a minute I’m already asleep. (I’m learning English, so, sorry if you don’t understand something)

I have been awake for 2 nights straight. Not even a nap. The longest i have been awake is 4 nights straight. Good sleep is a blessing. Dont take it for granted.
You can really feel the effects of a good nights sleep when you wake up. It's not something I usually take for granted. There was a time when my sleep pattern was so wrecked because of surrounding circumstances that at one point I just slept for 18 hours because of all the terrible nights and inability to sleep I had. Woke up feeling like I was on another planet and like my brain was scrambled, but I was feeling considerably better.

In class i would have been able to fall asleep instantly on the most uncomfortable chairs known to man, bright lights in my face and freezing to death. It took all of my willpower to keep awake. But as soon as i got home, i wasnt tired at all until past midnight. Then in the morning the cycle continues.

Something very weird happened to me a few months ago, it must've been one of those "blackouts". I woke up at 6:30 as per usual (no alarm). I got up and then decided to lie down on my bed again. It was 6:30 when i had the blackout, i know because i checked the time seemingly seconds before it was 7:14. It felt so surreal, like, 44 minutes of my life were just a blink? Very odd.
I've had that mostly when I wake up yo school. It's was 5 30 then all of a sudden it became 7 30
uhh blackouts last only seconds; i think you passed out from lack of sleep, which is termed "microsleep." Consensus? Get more sleep PLEASE.

being sleep deprived isn't just about not sleeping enough, it's also about the QUALITY of the sleep. If your to stressed, snore a lot, have sleep apnea etc, it can also have a huge negative impact and is something you might want to get some help with.

When I want to sleep, but I can’t, I do something boring. Like the classic “count sheep”.
But I change it a little
1- I don’t count sheep, I just count from 1 to x
2- i set a goal, like “when I get to 500 i ‘ll sleep”
3- when I get to my goal, in this case 500, I stop counting and try to not think in anything.
And then for some reason I get sleepy and in around a minute I’m already asleep.

You can really feel the effects of a good nights sleep when you wake up. It's not something I usually take for granted. There was a time when my sleep pattern was so wrecked because of surrounding circumstances that at one point I just slept for 18 hours because of all the terrible nights and inability to sleep I had. Woke up feeling like I was on another planet and like my brain was scrambled, but I was feeling considerably better.

Including travel to and from school, that leaves 13-14 hours in a day. 8-10 hours of sleep leaves 3-4 hours to do whatever. There's plenty of time to sleep.

Also not to mention homework which if you're actually taking school somewhat seriously will prbly take up at least in hour though probably a lot more (especially around finals, tests etc)
