    Protect your head with a suitable water sports helmet.
    Check your gear, double check your footstraps, protect your head with a suitable helmet. Have the perfect trim so you dont think about your gear when you are on the water.
    2. Physical Preparation
    Fitness Level: Maintain a good level of fitness to handle the physical demands of water sports.
    Stretching: Warm-up and stretch to avoid muscle strains and injuries.
    Hydration: Stay hydrated before, during, and after your activity.
    Rest: Ensure you’re well-rested to maintain focus and energy levels.
    3. Mental Preparation
    Confidence: Build confidence through practice and familiarity with your chosen water sport.
    Awareness: Stay alert and aware of your surroundings at all times.
    Calmness: Learn to stay calm under pressure; panic can lead to accidents.
    Instincts: Trust your instincts and listen to your body’s signals.
    4. Learning with a Strategy
    Step-by-Step Learning: Break down skills into manageable steps and master each one before moving on.
    Embrace Mistakes: Understand that mistakes are part of the learning process and each one teaches you something new.

    my experience is, that the most injuries happend to me, because I think "one more wave". I.e. I am already exhausted and should end the session. This exhaustion comes with mention fatigue etc... and then injuries happen so quickly...
