Keep in mind, moving back with your grizz or Rhino tanks all ways work when a drone comes.
but while your tanks are moving backwards, DO NOT CLICK AGAIN while they are moving, or their turrets rotate back forward before rotating back again to attack the drone.
Doing that leaves an opening for the drone to come in.
If you can micro well, you can also click on the drone but move your forward tank back to bait the drone coming in for your single tank while it ignores the others.
(Does not work if your opponent expects it).

If I play as allied, Honestly, I get repair IFVs (2+), if my opponent goes multiple Drones.
Perfect counter as well as when you have down time, move your broken/damaged tanks back to get them repaired.
