Coorection: This is not called Afghan-landing style... But originally Namely, the so-called “Sarajevo approach” is the Sarajevo landing approach, which refers to a tactical approach (25-degree bank) designed to minimize the time the aircraft was exposed to enemy fire during operations on Sarajevo during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Cheers
Afghan landing is from 80s, and Sarajevo approach is from 90s. Afghan landing is distinguished by spiral descent and nose-down touching the land-strip. Here we didn´t see the features of the Afghan landing.
Your IL-76 dont even have digital control and super critical structure. Both helps in better handling and lifting of the structure. That is why using same DK30P2 engine , Y-20 can lift 56 tons of cargo while same DK30P2 engine used on your IL-76, it can lift only 47 -49 tons.
@@AN-nk6is the Y29 and IL76 are completely different aircraft. Different fuselage, different wing, different weight class. No similarity other than the engine.
Almost looks like a B-52 passing the way those engines smoke when doing a bit of work telling its tale. Absolutely zero 90 degree dive shown in video & runway used for takeoff seems much longer than the C-17 needs.
Thank goodness they did not copy the C-141, right? Right?? The "90 degree vertical dive" is pure CLICKBAIT. It's a modern airlifter powered by very low bypass turbofans or perhaps even turbojets? Makes no sense.
Is a 90 degree dive even possible for any big transport like that? I was sure the title was wrong, just wanted to see the real angle. Maybe 40 at the most? 😅

Every country has intelligences agencies and are hacking other countries most advanced technologies and weapons but only China can hack and steal from USA? Hahaha. If it was so easy to "steal technology from superpower USA" then why doesn't every country have it? Unless you actually believe that other countries actually have access to advanced technology but they just don't want to be seen as "copying" and so they stay poor and weak instead? Or that other countries don't try their hardest to hack and copy and steal all the best technology for themselves? Lol.
Beautiful plane! I love airshows for the big ones and the small! 👏

@@miketheavgeek there was no "vertical dive". Clickbait.

90 degree ?.? landing approach…steep but not that steep. Nice looking piece of kit tho.
