Hey Ray... you should add a note in the setup part about bending wrists is only prohibited at the start. The way you worded it you contradict yourself in the part about bending wrists... I know what you mean but I think you are aiming this vid at newbies. I don't want them to accidentally think you are contradicting yourself, and that you mean bent wrists are good and fair, only NOT before the go. That one thing could have been worded clearer. Thanks for the info vid Ray!

I was just commenting on your new video about the Kings move but the video became private ? I think there should be a 5 second rule where if you have somebody's arm fully straightened out they have 5 seconds to get out of that position or it is classed as a pin
I am interested in getting into arm wrestling and have competed against ex pro armwrestlers but they are way out of their prime and work to much to teach me. The one arm wrestling coach near me closed his gym and no longer teaches. I still train my arms for the sport with what I have available and compete in bars where very few people can beat me even guys much larger than me. I am 5 foot 10 with 18 inch biceps 15 inch forearms, 20 inch EFT and weigh 245 pounds I don't know the metric for that but I do know those are good stats even in the pro level. Some of the people I trained with a little that competed national find it crazy how someone my height has such long arms and big hands. I am only 22 years old.
Question . At 67kg what kg rising is good ?today i hit 27.5kg but i dont know if it is good or bad because theres only heavy peoples on youtube.and i think it would be good if you make a video which you show which pr mean what at for every weight class .like 10-15kg = bad 15-20kg =average 20-25kg =good (Numbers are random)
Raimonds there is no doubt that techniques must be learned but unfortunately if the level of your opponent (in terms of strength on all the vectors that come into Match in an arm wrestling match) is clearly superior in terms of Kg. lifted, the technique in my opinion is not enough. This is important to clarify so as not to create illusions in new athletes who must understand that learning the technique is easier than training and sacrificing themselves daily to improve their strength. There are different levels of strength and that if you don't reach them, the technique won't do anything unless you are at the same level of strength in all the vectors (rise, pronation, cup, back pressure, side pressure, hook). There are tables that determine your strength level based on the lift you do in these vectors, I'll give you an example of one vector(Side Pressure) well this is what the table below lists: Up to 22.67 kg ( 68.03 Kg (>150Lbs) the level is World Open Class. Now in light of all this I believe that technique has its importance but I put it as a percentage of 30% the remaining 70% depends on the strength acquired in all the vectors mentioned above, in the case mentioned the (Side Pressure) if there is a substantial difference in terms of Kg. lifted it is clear that technique will never be able to make the difference and this also applies to all the other vectors. I have not touched on the resistance side in a match because this falls into the cases where the forces of the two athletes are equal and at that point the athlete with the most resistance wins.
Techniques mean blocking the opponent from using their power. Toproll blocks hook, hook blocks press. If toproller get in good position, only press or superstrong toproll can beat it. If hooker gets in position, only an even stronger hook or a arm break position press can beat it.

When you’re doing a top roll it looks like your covering their thumb isn’t that not allowed?
Just Supinate cup and side drag
What happened to the video that was just uploaded in the middle of watching it it froze and showed it went private 😂
I uploaded version with not full Subtitles, doing it now.
just rise and roll
Turn and burn
@lycosa10 brooo...i just realised what this phrase meant which i heard from devon years ago!! thank you so much for replying me with this quote
I cant pronate without rising + cupping, i need to cup high and just go sideways while i pronate maintaining my cup and backpressure
@@armwrestyson - You can pronate without rising as long as your webbing is higher and you pronate through your thumb while cupping.
@kingwillie206 I didn't know I needed to flex my wrist at the same time as I pronate, thanks for correcting me ♥️🫂💪🏻
The thumbnail should be how to armwrestle

This is a video for beginners you wet paper bag. Nobody is reading all that and your numbers are completely arbitrary

U good?
Where is the video How not to break arm?
Watch your hand, don't let your arm get outside your body. It's the spiral break of the humerus that you're avoiding. So think about that.
@@xbenxwilsonxhighlights7879 thank you
Hi voiceofarmwrestling, I was really impressed by your thumbnail. Enhanced video editing can help increase your views-shall we explore this?
