Another great reaction Frank. I thinks this is a new tactic of writing songs with easily singable Lyrics in the 'hook'. All of their songs are written to be _Performed_ and not just listened to on a CD. I think that's a good plan.
Thank you for your feedback, Patrick! I think I agree with you. The more concert videos I've watched of them, I feel they REALLY want the audience to participate. And one of the ways to do that is of course to have those catchy hooks and choruses. I hope it won't "simplify" their songs going forward, but Miyako is a great song writer, so I'm sure they will keep the quality. 🤘🐺🤘❤️
LOVEBITES - Unchained lyrics & credits: Open your eyes and you can see place you’ve imagined for so long High above, it’s there, accelerating heartbeat Get ready, ready, set, go Somewhere in this unclear day, you & I we all know this for sure Reaching out to catching the ticket to this one way road journey Nothing is there without meaning No going back, it’s always one chance in your life Don’t beg for another chance! The grey-out world will start to colour Don’t think, feel!! Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want The future we dreamed of is waiting far beyond Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want This beat of my heart as a guidance, finding signal of blaze light Heading straight no matter how the track is steep and narrow, moving on Everything has its “meant to be” There’s no impossible for us as long as if you believe in me We will shine like nobody else Don’t think, feel!! Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want The future we dreamed of is waiting far beyond Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want

This track has pretty much everything - a seamless and innovative blend of AOR/heavy rock, speed-power metal, and a bit of thrash thrown in at the breakdown before the solo. There's another song with an MV from their new EP "Lovebites EP II" called "Soul Defender". My favorites from the new EP are the 3 songs with audio only - "Where's Identity", "A Bell in the Jail", and "Someone's Dream". You should check those out.
I'm SO bad at genres, so I don't say anything about that. I would just get it wrong, and I try to limit how many wrongs I do. 🤓 I've already done a reaction to Soul Defender as I actually caught the premiere of that video. I'll be very happy if you watched it, th-cam.com/video/_LmhHxcDCWc/w-d-xo.html And 100% I'll be listening to the other songs. There's no chance I won't! 🤘🐺❤️
I think Lovebites are the only metal band that have ever done a gospel song. And they completely nailed it. Asami was doing soul and blues before she joined Lovebites. I think Miyako wrote this to let Asami flex that part of her repertoire. Gospel metal, a new genre.
Gospel metal? That's new. I used to listen to a channel that played gospel house, but that's an easier fit. Asami lived in the US for a while, didn't she? I guess she picked up a lot over there that she brought back to Japan and Lovebites. And always smart to write to the abilities of the musicians. And Miyako is a smart songwriter! 🤘🐺❤️
@@FranksReactions Actually, several of the bandmembers are familiar with American gospel. Midori talked in an interview about visiting churches in the US and loving the music.

Glad you noticed Miyako's little dance. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
That's a given. Always have to keep an eye on Miyako. 🤘🐺🤘❤️
@@FranksReactions The sequence is really short! But it's fun...
Lovebites unleashed.
Yup, you can say that! 😉🤘🐺❤️
