I never resonated with Emerson models....maybe they ride the line of practicality and purpose-built tactical features too closely, for me to carry all the time? Although I trained martial arts when younger, my life is just an "everyday carry affair". I don't see myself getting into situations where it's "fight on". Consequently, while I appreciate all the thought that goes into the tactical and hard-use design, a knife I'll carry often, is mostly a precision cutting tool that features comfy handles which afford several grips, stonewashed blade to hide marring, a lanyard point because it aids in quick deploy, interesting lock mechs......steel types aren't that important to me, although I recently got a ProTech Mordax in CPM Magnacut. I'll tell ya what intrigues me...... you did a review of the Cold Steel Ti-Lite which has a similar long handle to the A100. Can you do a comparison and twirl 'em?
I have noticed most people who have trained martial arts understand the importance and health benefits of NOT getting into and looking for fights. I am planning on doing some more comparisons videos in the future - absolutely!
This is one of my all time favorites, along with the cqc7. Well built no nonsense U.S.A made tools.
Right!? It has such a great blade shape
@@tacticaltavern yeah it's just so simple but I think that's what makes it great
@kingofoneself9 that's unfortunate, emerson seems to do limited production runs so you gotta grab them while you can.
Agree with all time favorites, have the full size and mini in thunderstorm finish ,fantastic knives
Great review man. All I ever want to do when I watch your videos is learn to flip my knives better! And buy more gear of course. 😎🤘🏻
Hiya Peter......Yeah, I have the same fixation..... I wanna see Tomas flip mo' !! I wonder if he'll ever pickup balisong practice?
