This was something that really affected me about two years ago during my Taekwondo training (to the point where I actually had to take some time off), so I'm happy to see a video like this online. Hopefully, this can prevent someone else from going through all that. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I went to my first karate class were we did repeated kicks. I’m guessing my form isn’t that great and I’ve also been running more recently which could have also led to knee pain
Love these videos. Diffrent than other TKD channels. Started 1986 and ended about 2005 bcause of my bad back. Want to try again and i'm 46. Have disc problem low back and can hardly do situps. Anyone got any good tips? No weight problem. 65 kg/1.75cm. Would be sooooo greatful
Yea if you do setting down streches first so when before u do standing steches cuz your going to be realy stiff from setting and steching and then standing its a lot better on the stiffness befor class starts for the first week. After every class i had back pain befor bed but now its less and less.
Yes same! I'm not sure but could it be that I'm not pivoting completely on the other foot while kicking? I have the same problem and I really want to know as the pain isn't too painful more like a discomfort.
Hi I had a operation left KNEE my muscles around my knee had snaped so the operation was for the surgeon to split part of muscle in my leg ang graft it across my left knee .as a result the operation left me with nerve damage left leg very week .I have suffered for over 15 years with cronic pain but I refuse to have any walking aid or take medication such as a muscle relaxcent. now back in for visits to the hosptal for physio to try strengthen muscles around the knee . but in all honesty they told my that there was not much more they could do to help my medical condition . I don,t believe this and I feel that martial arts may have a method in order for me to build up my knee muscles . I did start attending martial arts classes just before my knee gave out on me. It has not been easy and mostly a struggle trying do daily task's over the years . so if you know of any natural medicine's and exercises which may be of help I would be greatful for any advice . kind regards Lawrence

Start mild conditioning workouts prior to active TKD training.
