    Great explanation. Im at the point of crossing chasing to balancing. Im on a Harley with TBW and its mad touchy. When you said hold the throttle and work the brake, that really clicked. I think thats the ticket for me going into balancing and coasting. Great video man!

      That’s what’s up!!! I’m so so glad it helped. Steady throttle working the brake is def the key to a good balance point wheelie just keep in mind how much your on your brakes so you don’t catch brake fade. Search for that fine line in the wheelie where you’re on the brakes and off the break and memorize it that way you know when you are really on them. I know I have the spring on my brake so I have constant contact with the pedal but I’m not always on the brakes tho it may look it. On you memorize that spot it’s a game changer

      yeah, steady throttle is something alot of people forget to mention, but also most everyone is on either a grom or a 636 wich dont really have much engine braking. harleys however have MAD engine braking, i stunt an fz07 and i honestly dont need any brake at all unless im dropping back and even then depending on how hard im dropping back the engine brake will almost catch it every time, but it does make the wheelie more "choppy" and unstable. get to balance point and just barley use the brake as needed. i typically like to get on the brake a little. just ride it to were its barley engaged and then drop back and throttle control *while riding brake* to slow down, kinda like the first method he mentioned. we all learning *shrug*

    The roll = the point where engine braking is just about to be overpowered. Knowing where that is and how that feels will sky rocket ones progress. Once you know that, a beginner will start to use the brake only when needed, and not brake r@pe.

    Im a little late but I searched for this exact thing, amazing tutorial man thank you, my problem when I wheelie is that I just keep shifting up, I’m basically trying to find out how to stay in one particular gear, I ride a crf250X and I feel like I could do better tricks if I stayed in 3rd gear out of 5. I’ve done wheelies probably going past 60mph and when you’re going that fast you honestly can’t do anything

      I’m so glad I could help. It’s all in the brakes and throttle and listening to your bike when it comes to slowing down

      search industrial parks or industrial complex in google as a start. then also look at the business hours of who is there. you want them to be closed during the entire weekend. usually means less security. spots with a major highway backing it on the other side of trees is always a good look since the highway traffic will help cover the bike noise

    • @thehumblesavage2898
      @thehumblesavage2898  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      First gear usually. Bring it trailer and ease into the brake as you do to keep it up and not run out of gear. Gotta get it up there quicker and be on the brake
