If you want to put the sorbo pad on the cylinder head with out dropping it in use a piece of rod or a long screwdriver put it through the sorbo pad then you can line it up and slide it down
And i have used the spacer tap washer between the piston and piston head ,you can also use metal washers the airsoft tech does but if you are worried about weight you can get nylon spacers and use those instead ,i ordered some nylon washers off eBay actually cheap as bro and i think you can also get some at a bunnings warehouse i think they use them in built in wardrobes
You can use a kebab skewers to help with dropping it in the right spot ,hold the cylinder with the head facing down and put the skewer through where the nozzle goes and through so it sticks out the back of the cylinder and drop the spacer in that way the skewer helps keep in centered
mind sharing a full build list? I'm looking into doing an airsoft dsg or ssg build with a t238 (v1.7+) and keeping my eyes open for other parts options. any suggestions?

Dave Cherrill is that on semi and full auto? What size spring also Try 9mm and see how that goes. Mine are typically less than 9mm, they need to be shorter than airsoft.

is filing back 1 or 2 mm off the back of the cylinder necessary in the mk gearbox. also how did you do it?
One of them I had to, I can’t quite remember if it was the v2 or the h92 gearbox mk box though.
Mate I don't know how you do it I'm running a m190 in my dsg build and I'm hitting just under 300fps
does the mag keep up with the speed of the gearbox?, what spring do you use, i'd love to build a dsg

Brian rapley probably in a couple of months I’ll start doing builds, but only high end type builds. Can’t stand nylon gearboxes 😂😂
