At 2:06 I did switch to acro mode and crashed almost immediately... so I could test turtle mode of course! I decided it would be good to test turtle mode a few times while in acro mode. Eventually I switched back to the stabilized modes so that I could stop testing turtle mode.
Yes sir I saw Air which is Acro and really hard indoors and I don't think any one races in Acro, I prefer horizon on my TinyHawk S with 1s and high rates better than 2s
@@chaosir3677 Yeah, I prefer horizon for indoor flight on the Tinyhawk S. One of my friends always races in Acro at our whoop races, but also usually wins so he can do whatever he wants.
@@cyberduck7377 Hmm. That I am not sure about, but it sounds like washout possibly from the ducts and needing some more Betaflight tuning. Honestly I have never tried flips with a Tinyhawk since I have bigger drones that generally fly better in more extreme maneuvers. My Tinyhawk is generally just used for cruising around indoors.
@@IanBeaty Which part on betaflight flight should I tune to make flips and rolls easier? Idk if its my batteries that are starring to swell up or the tuning part, I feel like its the batteries thats causing the tinyhawk to drop out of midair.
Go in to rate profile 3 in osd with stick commands (hold throttle in center and full yaw left, then push pitch all the way up) then under rate profile go to profile 3 then back up with yaw left, go down to rate, and increase yaw and roll rates plus pitch for flips, versus rolls, to .75-1 then increase RC expo and super expo rates to around 0.15-.20. And save and exit. Just slowly increase these numbers until the yaw, flip and roll speeds increase. I wouldn't mess with pids, but stock rates are way to slow to do flips and rolls. I'd leave rate profile 1&2 alone for reference but tweak 3 to your liking. Anything that says expo is going to Exponentially increase the chosen rate (mine all at 1) and expos at .15 when more stick is applied. Yaw is most critical because stock is so slow. I've been trying to canny roll my TinyHawk and its tuff. But have successful accomplished 360 rolls with these rates.
