Funnily enough this is a song that really grew on the RYM scene. I remember it sitting at 1.60 in like 2019, but in a post 100 gecs world it stands at 2.90

the fact that this song created beartooth, bilmuri and of mice and men is absolutely WILD. even thought i absolutely love it its so bad but in the best way possible. this is OG 100 gecs to me and i think the humor especially lands knowing how young they all were at the time of making the track.

for a lot of people involved in the scene when it came out it was really divisive. looking back in retrospect they were far too ahead of their time, and now attack attack have been getting the respect they deserved. plus this band ended up created a few other great metalcore bands like of mice & men, beartooth, & bilmuri to name a few.

It sounds nuts but in 2008 when this came out it changed the whole game. I feel like it hasn’t aged that badly but maybe my ears are broken
So bad but it’s so good. Scene core at its peak. They made a serious metalcore album in 2013 and it was boring af.
