Sometimes when watching Falcon And Winter Soldier, I would pause and say "THAT'S OBVIOUSLY A STUNTMAN". Now it's good to know that he has a name. Sup Aaron
I always love that most stuntmen are also inheriting and implementing FMA (Filipino Martial Arts) into movies, as Aaron Toney did speak about Kali, also known as Arnis and Escrima, the iconic Filipino martial arts that’s legendary and used by select few Filipinos back in 1600s when the Spaniards banned us from having swords, but that did not stop us from having to use sticks, because it retains the same principles as the swords.
The media does but every body who practice à bit of martial arts or who grew up in the suburbs/ghetto love the guy. He is part of our childhood and everybody got all testosterony watching his movies and HK movies. Now of course the dimwitted pathetic excuses of journalistes who think are part of the elite are all too happy to spit on him but JCVD has real passion going for him (talking from France by the way) :)

FaTWS is probably one of my favorite Marvel shows that is out now. Honestly, the whole Captain America series is great. There are a lot of great practical effects and seriously amazing stunts and fight choreo. It also has a really well told story. Cudos to Aaron and Gui for being a part of those stories
Man, this might be my favorite episode yet. I loved that Aaron and Gui were both there to bounce really good questions off of each other. The Falcon stunts are all extremely dope. We looked at Blade, which is one of the best opening 10 minutes of a movie ever, followed by Hard Boiled. Standing ovation.
They are wrong about Frank Dux. He has been exposed as a liar on multiple occasions and is one of the most famous martial arts frauds in the world. All of his claims of having fought in “kumites” to the death, being a CIA operative, his military background, and his martial arts pedigree have been famously disproved over the years…even to the point of being exposed as a liar and fraud in various court proceedings.
Had to stop the video too to see how many people came to comment that Dux is a fraud. A bit disappointing they aren't aware of how he was exposed as a fake.

Kimberly Shannon Murphy, Amy Johnston, Lauren Mary Kim and many more, props to all! And of course Niko is always a treat! Amazing energy, charisma, and so easy going with an infectious laugh. Everyone at CC is top notch, top tier and what I strive to have in a work place environment. How do I apply? LOL! Thanks CC, one of my favorite channels!
God I wish these videos were longer just to hear people like Gui and Aaron talk more. They're so god damn informed, I love it.
@AnonymousNoname found the purist
This one for sure.
ALL the reacts have me wanting to just spend a day with the crew and the guests because THE AMOUNT OF KNOWLEDGE in one room is insane!
"There is a movie of Jean Claude Van Damme on TV" has been a valid excuse my whole childhood for not having to go somewhere
Have you guys ever talked about "A Scanner Darkly"? Would be fun seeing your reactions and talk about that movie!
So great to see both Aaron AND Gui in the same episode! It feels like some dude bros chilling and talking shop with their buddy thats hosting the party.
A Jackie Chan movie I can't remember if you've done yet: Shanghai Noon! I love the stunts in the saloon brawl.
I approve this message!
They have done some of Shanghai noon.
@@michaeljackson8390 I don't remember asking. Most of your shit videos have under 500 views. Try harder.
And Shanghai Knights. The marketplace fight is like Buster Keaton meets Gene Kelly.
Probably among the weakest Jackie movies
Having two different stuntmen bouncing off each other really works. Would love to see it in later episodes!
We need more stuntmen duos like this
@@michaeljackson8390 No one gives a shit
Here in Belgium they laugh a lot with JCVD so I’m actually happy that stuntmen nowadays have actually a lot of respect for him.
The media does but every body who practice à bit of martial arts or who grew up in the suburbs/ghetto love the guy.
He is part of our childhood and everybody got all testosterony watching his movies and HK movies.
Now of course the dimwitted pathetic excuses of journalistes who think are part of the elite are all too happy to spit on him but JCVD has real passion going for him
(talking from France by the way)
:)
@@stefanswiss3760 I can recommend the movie JCVD to everyone, but not everyone is going to get it.
He's great at martial arts and stunt work... he's just a terrible, TERRIBLE actor. But what I love is when he plays up how bad he is and just hams it up. :)
@@stefanswiss3760 yeah exactly most martial artists I've known or trained with (here in Belgium) love his movies and action and respect his skills but he's definitely starred in some pretty cheesy things though, but those are fun in their own way. I mean I definitely still love Street Fighter cheesy as that was lol.
@@AdamBladeTaylor He's super hammy in The Expendables 2 and it works so well. I wish he played more cheesy villains.
I do think he's capable of decent performances with proper directing and a good script but that's rarelly the focus in action movies unfortunately.
Really enjoy the commentary on the stunts. Gives me a greater respect to the martial arts with the storytelling y'all emphasize. I've been watching "Shadow and Bones" on Netflix and I can (metaphorically) hear "Stuntment React" on what I have seen on screen so far. Thank you for educating me and being passionate about stunts and all the work that you do and share!!
I love how much respect Gui and Aaron have for each other. I fux with that.
I’m so glad GUI said Judo. I feel like Judo is so under appreciated as a martial art.
Really? I think it's pretty well appreciated.
@@SwordTune kinda sorta, jujitsu takes most of the grappler hype nowadays, but i will stand my ground on that judo is superior having practiced both
It’s pretty well appreciated. It’s the basis of most styles in MMA and most have judo skills at least to grapple. Its an Olympic sport, one of the few martial arts that is. It’s highly respected and many of its techniques are incorporated into other styles
I learned Aikido when I was a teenager for a few years
Judo is like... The most useful all around MA, it's got the grapple of jujutsu with a stronger standup. Everyone should learn judo.
Aaron and Gui geeking out Van Damme's front tucks is just adorable.
But not as adorable as watching Wren constantly winking due to being high on pain meds.
FaTWS is probably one of my favorite Marvel shows that is out now. Honestly, the whole Captain America series is great. There are a lot of great practical effects and seriously amazing stunts and fight choreo. It also has a really well told story. Cudos to Aaron and Gui for being a part of those stories
The scene in How High where he falls asleep, lights himself on fire, falls through the window and then gets hit by a bus xD
Wheather or not Frank Dux really lived that life still doesn't differ how badass Bloodsport is
Awesome movie, but Frank Dux is a Canadian embarrassment.
I think it's pretty definitive he made it up, but at least his made up backstory led to one of the best movies ever.
@@sacasticdata1840 I stopped the video and wrote the same comment about that fraud lol
Had to stop the video too to see how many people came to comment that Dux is a fraud. A bit disappointing they aren't aware of how he was exposed as a fake.
Ohhhhhh man two legendary stunt actors on the same couch?!?!?! Yes!!!!!
Definitely loved seeing both Aaron and Gui on the video together. Their energy and chemistry together is great for the videos, bring them on more often together!
Dammit, Wren tripped my Alexa.
Oh hey Mike! Lol I feel like I just saw a teacher outside of school.
You are everywhere, aren't you? xD
@@eroope5713 hahaha! Exactly.
ayyy bruh
My Alexa was also triggered lol
These two stuntmen are so chill and humble!
Literally all the stunt professionals they bring on have such great energy but Aaron and Gui are just the best imo
"if you hear me sounding funny right now... Pain meds exist for collar bones hehe!"
"If you've heard me talk about aubabbable before..."
Was so ready for Aaron to come back, plus Gui's here too? It's gonna be a MARVELous day...
The banter between Aaron and GUI is such an enjoyable thing to experience, truly masters of their craft
*Aaron and Gui, and agreed :)
@@angrypotato_fz thanks, watching AOT these days ;-;
Batman begins. Batman is set on fire, jumps off a balcony and lands on a car
A car is not a truck,. pretty close tho
@@jefgir Feels like the nitpick should have been a jumping from a balcony is not being thrown through a window? A car is a lot closer to a truck than jumping from a balcony is to to being thrown through a window.
The best part of the blade scene you missed is right at the beginning. The slurp noise as the girl lifts her head from the vampires lap is unforgettable.
It was great having two stuntmen who could discuss and exchange in front of the camera. Also, we wish you a good and speedy recovery Wren !
I think this was one of the best professionals react videos of any of the series. Having two professionals there to bounce commentary off each other was fun to see. Half the time it felt like them reminiscing on their career which added another layer to this video as reacting to this profession.
When I was watching The Falcon and the Winter Soldier I was like “yup, that’s Aaron Toney.” 😆
God. The energy with these two amazing stuntmen and Niko is SO MUCH better than when Clint is there. You should keep this 2 Stuntpeople + Niko format!!
Into the Badlands is an awesome martial arts action show, you guys would have a field day breaking it down.
These three dudes had great chemistry IMO
Omg I love how Aaron was holding on to the couch when Blade came on lol
Having both Aaron and Gui on at the same time was a brilliant idea!
I don't know why, but i KNOW that Clint is out there staring by the window and screaming: LET ME IN!
I know it has nothing to do with stunts but Aarons fit is fire. He's stuntin on all of us
Ahhhhhh, thanks maaaaaan :-)
I love watching winter soldier back and seeing Gui taking a nap in the elevator
I'd love to see a whip episode. Dual whips from Underworld, Antonio Banderas as Zorro, Swenson in The Rundown, Jason Scott Lee with the blade whip in Dracula 2 Ascension etc. Anthony De Longis is getting up there in age but this dude helped choreograph and train actors with whips, swords and knives from some of the biggest movies including Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman.
Ultimate irony of JCVD who is a real badass pretending to be a guy that pretended to be a real badass. At least we got the most memorable tournament fight movie of the decade out of it.
