Also, a surviving intruder can make up lies against you and get you in trouble for shooting them because it's your word against theirs unless you have a surveillance system in every room in your home, which would be sort of creepy. I've heard many stories on true crime shows (could still probably be made up bs, but still...) of home intruders suing the home owner for shooting them. For all of those reasons, it's better to shoot to kill in my honest opinion.
@@BackYardScience2000 what makes you think I wouldn't shoot them in the face when they're wounded "because I feared for my life?"
@@BackYardScience2000 my dad shot and intruder and only wounded him he was with a group of people they took the weapon he had and left so when the police got there it looked like my dad had shot a unarmed man..... Later in in the trail my dad said his lawyer told him something he would never forget "you wish you would have killed this man before this trial is over" we moved after that 7 months later a ms13 gang member broke into our house and my dad gave him both barrels of a 12 ga. And the investagator investagated that about 5 minutes my dad said
Shooting... A non-lethal knife-weilding psycho... AT a person?
Launching psychos at people? Like with a catapult?
@@operator8014 essentially but in bullet form
"I'd swallow that right now, if I hadn't already had lunch". Now, see! That right there is PROOF that you have been touching too much lead! Bwahahahaha! =0)
That’s what happens when people pretend to be smart
Ima be honest, having it unfurl seems like it'd be exactly what you want with this type of round
Even the Dust Devils approve! That was surprising, keep up with the cool videos.
Wow. This looks like what I had imagined the Bolo rounds would do
I’ve been wondering for a fair while what a slug made of ballistic gel would do.
Make some send them to them and we can all find out
Make a wound and patch it all in one. 👍
@@madgardener5820 Haha.
@Shutbyotch that's my exact thoughts and what I came to reply and say. I expect for the ballistics gel to become completely disintegrated and become just a hot spray
3:43 even if the audio files have been lost, a track list of all the Taofleder bands and their top hits would be great. A shirt with your dates and location of where the projectile originated
I second that.
Third. 😎🤘
Fourth
Alpha and Omega.
The most impressive thing about this one is OG's drawing skills.
I liked the slug to
I LOVE the BALLISTIC EXPERIMENTS, BUT ,JEFF,TO hang out with you and O.G would be a memorable Great time!!! Love your channel and everyone on it!!! GOD Bless you and your family!!
Viewers on the front lawn...
“Just us lawn nomes trying to see what round is next.”😂🤣😂
“Worthwhile Projectile” is the name of my new band!
That's what I would call manifestation of evil:
When officer Gregg walks on earth with his unholy shotgun, evil shall be released
8:04 the dirt Devil in the background tho. Also us Oklahoman’s are very use to those, the second dirt Devil that appeared later in the video.
Arizona as well. When making deliveries to the flight line, you could see them swirling around. And also bouncing into the bed of the pick up, sending stuff everywhere. I learned that the hard way. Crew Chiefs get a bit upset when stuff starts flying around their birds ! Light weight stuff stays in the cab with you.
@@jad43701 stuff gets dangerous around them birds. I can’t remember how many I’ve seen between California to oklahoma and Afghanistan. Fun to watch but it sure is painful.
Good to know the USPS is keeping an eye out for suspicious packages. The cream of the crop seem to be employed there nowadays.
Yup, I feel fully comfortable ordering sketchy shit online now.
The depresser and rubber band to keep it from rolling away.
"NO penetration??" Now THAT is something you absolutely never heard when OG's band was in town! Lol
😆👍
I think these would cause some interesting wounds on actual flesh, probably not easy to patch up on the fly.
Sorta like square bullets
@@ev6558 yeah don’t you just stuff a tampon in it?
The tounge depress stick rubberbanded on is put there to keep thhe bottle from endlessly rolling on the belts. that shipper knows exactly what they are doing. 10/10
"Is that adam savage's actual skull?" Thag was pretty good
I miss Jeff singing "yooooou maaaaake iiiiiit, weeee MaccccH iiiiiit!"
Haven’t seen any of your episodes in ages, but this was a good one to start catching up with.
Thanks for trying it on ballistic gel. I wonder if you were to maybe ignore the weight and try a full lead roll, or maybe a thinner strip? With rifling.
Anyhow, whoa! Neat project, you scientists you!
Never stop sending these guys weird and wonderful stuff to shoot for us. 🦇
I can't believe the USPO delivered a bottle with a label on it. That is cool!
If you knew who Art Bell was, he said on the air one time he got something delivered to him from the post office address as
Art Bell
In the desert
To be fair, it did take 3 tries...
@@heyukr5298 art bell was an absolute legend!
I’ve gotten packages that were just a 6” section of pool noodle, with a label taped on and the ends taped.
@@heyukr5298 I listen to Coast-to-Coast AM every night and I remember Art Bell. RIP. Good story.
Wow. Greg and Jeff. Very entertaining. Who would have thought a lead ribbon? And it had some success!!! Shotgun scientists for sure. Thank you both.
OG, thank God you're not in the coconut soup!
It was touch and go there for a minute.
Really glad to see that you guys are still out doing what you love. Thanks for another awesome video. I pity the fool that gets hit with a roll of lead strip!!!
thanks Roman
One of things I love about shotguns. You can almost put anything in them and fire it.
When is OG going to release a concert lineup shirt with all his old bands on it?
I knew this round would be special when I saw OG in a lab coat during the intro.
I really wish you guys would've soldered the ends to see if that keeps it together in flight so that it only unravels when hitting the target.
I could not help laughing at Lead Ribbon Experiment. I think a bought their first album. Cassette came in a brown leather shoe.
I remember the brown leather shoe! It had a tongue depressor strapped on it with a rubber band!
wait was that a real band
