Best wheels and tires hands down for the Asuga. I didn't like them so much on the Sketer. TC needs to either sell the Asusga with them on it or at least have a basher option for them.
‘It won’t rotate…..what a prick’ 😂 my favourite quote for awhile! Sweet run though and it does look an impressive buggy/truggy/mt and sure does fly some serious distance ✈️ Took the hits pretty well though considering a few nasty landings 👍🏻
Haha, thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, it's a solid buggy and takes a beating for sure, but the best part about it is how it drives and as it is, I really like it.😎
I have this exact same car and Sketer wheels on mine. Only put 1 pack through so far but it seems awesome. The Sketer tyres/wheels were doing nothing as I put Back flip 4s on my daughter's Sketer with some M2C extenders so they clear the body and its so much better with them on it.. Great video as always Vas! 👍
Awesome sends Vas, Had to laugh at the random dude walking up and asking for Christmas Ideas. Happens occasionally with me. It's great to pass on some knowledge to people that don't have much idea about what's out there. I love the size of the Asuga. Big buggies are an epic idea. It is indeed real prick when they don't rotate lol. Epic.
Thanks Steve. It's a wholesome feeling when you get to help someone else out and get them started in the hobby. This guy was genuinely interested and asked some great questions, too. In hindsight, I should've left the camera rolling and recorded the conversation. Oh well, maybe next time... 🤷♂️
I really love the asuga it is a brilliant car. The sketer tires are great but they dont baloon that much. You might wanna try the 2.8 trenchers or the 4s backflip on it. it gets bananas on them. Watch out with the backflip though they get really close to the wing. But it works. More cushion from the tires helps to protect the a-arms aswell.
Haha, thanks. In hindsight, I probably should've left the camera on and recorded the conversation. He was really nice and genuinely interested in the hobby and what to get his kid. It's always nice to meet people like that and they have a bunch of questions. 😎
At first I thought it was a weird idea to make a 1/7th scale buggy but actually it is quite genius. You got the handeling of a buggy and the ground clearance of a truggy.
This is without a doubt one of the best basher cars you can buy. Team Corally did a great job and making a larger buggy like this for bashers is a bit of a master stroke. At least for me it is. I know not everyone agrees or even likes this buggy, but I'm a big fan of what they've done here and it's an RC that so far, stands on its own - there are no other big buggies like this currently on the market.
Hey Vas, great fun watching that thing fly though the air! Hey your outro finishes at 10:34 but then there is a minute or two of black followed by some other clips you used in the video. Not sure you meant to leave that in there!! Just thought I’d let ya know 🤙🤘
Thank you for letting me know. Yes, I did a dumb-dumb on the edit and have fixed it now, but might take a while before it updates on TH-cam. You must be the only one that's watched the whole video, cause no one else has mentioned it. Cheers for that. 👊😎👍
No, all stock axles, no extenders needed. The Sketer wheels have the right offset to clear the steering blocks. After all, they clear them on the Sketer as well. 😉
@@AussieRCPlaygroundI’ll be potentially the first to ask Vas.. do you have a favourite Corally vehicle? They’ve really stepped up there game as of recent, almost a different company compared to how there V1 vehicles performed! I had a V2 Kronos & Jambo, loved both but then moved over to Arrma with the now discontinued Outcast EXB 6s, Notorious V5 (basically EXB spec now) Typhon also. I find the urge to move back to Team Corally now also Arrma prices are so high now! 😅
I have 3 I really like; the Kagama, Asuga and the Kronos XTR 2022 version. Those are my 3 favourites. The Kagama and Asuga are next gen cars, built very tough and drive really well, but they are a bit heavier as a result of all that extra plastic and bracing. The Kronos XTR is lighter and I can feel the difference in handling and performance when I drive it. It also helps that it's one tough SOB. 😁👍
@@AussieRCPlayground haha thanks for the feedback Vas! I’m thinking Asuga will be my next purchase 👀! Probably the RTR version also, always been impressed with the Corally electrics although they do run hot but I suppose they all do when you’re pushing them! There’s also nothing else out there, I could Truggify my typhon but again the Asuga is a proper hybrid of all RC vehicle types 🤷♂️. Amazed how stable it is in flight, it’s almost too stable as it doesn’t actually want to complete a full backflip! 😂

Man I love the way you had it flying in the air 🦾🫡
Thank you man, glad you enjoyed it. It's a beast of a buggy. :)
It seems really big for a buggy.. very 😎

Yo, that backflip attempt had me at the edge of my seat
walked up the right random rc dude
good for you to take the time to him for Christmas suggestions

@@AussieRCPlayground Yes, I was wrong. Don’t tell it to my wife but I am wrong about stuff all the time.

Awesome sends Vas 🚀🚀 Wish it held up, I wanted to see more off the Superman jump!
It will be back at some stage. 😉
Great video mate it does fly well. I was there a few days ago and broke the 4mm shocker bolt on that dam drain..
Haha, yeah, that drain has claimed a few of my cars as well in the past. Really hope they fix it one day...
Thank you sir love the videos brother keep them up, do you know if they make inserts for the arms yet and do the make any cvd’s that fit the rear?
So I'm up in the air, should i get the asuga or the kagama as basher? What are your thoughts? From what i can gather the kagama seems thougher?
I use them on mine , I only run on grass and they are awesome . Great video . Thank you
Awesome. Thanks for watching. :)
You got a nice bash spot there . The asuga is a beast . I put proline badlands on mine , I love it . Looking forward to your next vid
Thanks 👍
Takes a hard Beating Vas. Dam i want one.
These big tyres seemed to peform well.😅 Good driving, keep it up dude!!!👍👍
Thanks 😁
Thing is Awsome what a beast
This buggy keeps getting better! Are you using any hex extenders Vas? Still the stock axles? I’m surprised those sketer rims don’t rub!
No, all stock axles, no extenders needed. The Sketer wheels have the right offset to clear the steering blocks. After all, they clear them on the Sketer as well. 😉

This or the Typhon 6s and why ? Cheers.
I was high flying with my typhon 6s today. Now I want the asuga...
Does the skeeter wheels fit straight on or do you need extensions?
No, no extensions needed, they'll bolt straight on.
Did you have to drop down on the pinion?
No, this was run with stock gearing. 🙂
Are these wheels same size as the 4s backflips
I'm not entirely sure as I don't have the 4S backflips to compare, but they would be close, I think.
🔥🔥✌️
Might it be the wing stopping the rotation...
It's possible, but it hasn't stopped other cars from doing it, so it's interesting that it's stopping this one. 🤷♂️
Damn Prick car 😂😂
