Beautiful views, the river is gorgeous. I liked how quiet the train station was with all the graffiti :) I haven't been to Stuttgart in years, but it looks great that they are doing plenty of construction! :D thanks for another great video x
@@secretcitywalks3978 try staying with iso 100, 60fps ntsc, wide lens like 1.8 50mm and finally stay on 1/125 and use nd filter for exposure correction :)
@@madeonearth3429 Thanks for the comments. I actually tried to adjust the light using an editing programme. Not too good as one can see. What do you think of my other videos ?
@@secretcitywalks3978 as i said, you could buy better lens or camerabody to get more light and therefore more tolerance with bad contitions like when its cloudy, also try selecting WB as shadows or cloudy so get more colors :)
grotesque megaproject. This is not the dream of the future but rather a nightmare. Clearly Germany has too much money to throw away. I feel sorry for the nature and the people of Stuttgart, and for all of Germany to be trapped by the idea that this monstrosity represents progress.
Many people think the idea of this project was not to improve the railway or the station, which It does not but to allow certain people to speculate on the area for building behind the station when the train tracks are not there any more. The finishing date is now 2025 which if you look at my latest video at the airport is highly unlikely to happen !
@@secretcitywalks3978 Interesting, yes speculators and “developers”, and their political errand-boys always have their dirty fingers in projects like this, especially when land prices are climbing so quickly.
@@scrambaba I do not know if you live here or know anything about the train service here but the original idea was for a faster connection between Stuttgart and Ulm bzw.Munich which at the moment takes over 2 hours for 200km in a train which can do 300km/h. The rest was somehow hung on although it was not really necessary.
So you'd rather keep an aging railway and public transport system and do nothing to fix it? Also the current railway infrastructure in the city is not that pretty, putting it underground is a great idea.
@@Свободадляроссии This is clearly not “fixing” but a massive expansion. Fixing is part of maintaining a safe and reliable public transport service. DB’s empire-building has nothing to do with that. As for putting lines underground, there is a role for that, but as part of preservation of natural areas, cultural assets or other important things, not because rails don’t look pretty. From what I understand, this project has caused a large loss of urban green space.

An interesting video, thanks.
So much has changed since I left Stuttgart in the mid 90s.
The whole video somehow has a yellow cast. It all looks like after a sandstorm.
Yes. I must admit that I went a bit over the top with trying to brighten it up a bit with a new video programme. I will be more carefull next time !
@@secretcitywalks3978 no worries. just white balance on the clouds :)
