Another great video (as usual), Dan!! This is an absolutely beautiful version of Ticket to Ride! I pre-ordered this version today, and I'm looking forward to playing this in July!
Thanks for your helpful review as I just ordered this 15th anniversary edition today. I already have Ticket to Ride USA, and one Asia expansion set for it. I also have Ticket to Ride Rails and Sails (one of my favorites, love the longer game play and additional game mechanics. I think this Europe 15th Anniversary will be a nice addition to my collection and a balance between USA and Rails and Sails. If you haven't reviewed Rails and Sails yet, I would you encourage you to do so.
I have original and I bought this and dont regret it it was a pleasant suprise they added orient Express. Only downsize is they dudnt add the depot/warehouse expansion that came with 1912
Hi Daniel, the trains are the same size as the 10th anniversary so they only fit perfectly on these two special editions. This is due to the huge board size.
@@TheGameBoyGeeks this isn't true. The 15th anniversary trains were designed with expansions in mind. As a result, the size falls in between the 10th anniversary trains and the standard trains. The 6 train routes will be a tight fit, but they do work with the new set.
Excellent review and comparison. I found the rules explanation for stations to be particularly useful. However, I disagree about the red train design. I think it looks just as great as the other trains.
@@TheGameBoyGeeks lol the top of my Kallax will be full with all these big boxes and anniversary editions, and the actual shelves will start to be empty. I do have another spot for BIG games but it is full too. Maybe I am the problem 😅

The cards are the same size as the normal TTR Europe version. Only TTR original had those tiny cards.

Do the new premium trains fit on the other regular maps expansions? Because the USA 10th anniversary was way too bit to fit on those.
