  • This is a big home, over 700 feet. We spend quite a bit of time talking about mapping the install. 2 controllers and a secondary power supply. Part of the reason for this is needing 6 ports. A single controller has room for 4 ports. Bryan lays out the job so a controller and secondary power supply to manage the front of the home, and the second controller manages the back of the home. You can toggle between the two controllers within the setup tab in the app.
This video also addresses running wire across different parts of the home, under shingles, through the garage and attic, blank track in the outside of the home, behind flashing along a wall, along with explaining some of the accessibility to make jumps.
There are a few mentions of the soffit type being wood and a bit more difficult to work with than aluminum. The facia had about a 1/4" lip which means we could mount our track right along the back side of the facia. Any holes made in the soffit were strategic places so they would be covered by track.
The job seemed like there were a lot of people there because we had our sales and management come to this job for training purposes. This size job we would typically send 3 crews or 6 to 9 people depending on the crews being 2 to 3 people. the job was finished in one day. 8:30 am to out 4:30 pm.

It's hard to believe that 2 days after this was filmed, Korey would no longer be with us. RIP Korey, you will be missed.

This kind of lighting requires Licensed Electrician?

No. In most states it does not require a licensed electrician. It is a 48v low voltage system with a manufacture installed plug that plugs into a standard 110 outlet.
