3:we can all call him instead mecha sonic mk1 or robo sonic
4: although there is already a mecha sonic (the s3&k version) but they both can be called mecha sonic if we use mk1 (for the s2 16 bit version) and mk2 (s3&k version)

The official silver sonic figure is accidentally called mecha sonic on the products box when it's supposed to be called silver sonic not mecha sonic
Actually his name is Mecha sonic. Even when his concept art was found he was always supposed to be Mecha sonic. Archie mostly gave him that name.
