Welcome to Harn. I have been playing on the island for over 30 years now using various game systems. I am using Mythras as I find it to be best suited to how I like to play on Harn, and of course it is a skill based percentile system, so is easy to swap in Harn material with little work. As for Harnmaster, up until the advent of VTTs I and my players found it unwieldy. Now I am looking at Foundry which I play on as a consideration to start up a Harnmaster game.
Welcome to Hârn. One minor note/correction, Lýthia is actually just one of three continents on the planet Kèthîra, and the Hârnic Isles, the largest island in the archipelago being Hârn itself, is part of Venârivè (think an analogue of the European subcontinent) and lays off the northwest coast of the Lýthian continent.
Thanks for this. I´m also new to Harn and read the basic books right now (Harnworld and Harnmaster) I will watch all your videos for better understanding.
25:00 It's much easier to adopt the mentality of someone living in a medueval setting like Hârn than the Forgotten Realms. 47:00 The king is away, noone knows when/if will return. I know it's rather cliché, but I'm stealing that idea anyway!
Been watching your Harn series. Thank you for putting this together. I really appreciate it. Will you be looking for players in your Roll20 Harn Campaign? If so, then where do I go to apply/sign up?
Thanks for the overview. As a potential Harn-noob myself, I appreciate the perspective.
🎉I just got this harnmaster looking forward to diving in
