Beautiful stuff and great review. Michael`s work inspired me to create my own version of a minimalist wallet. I ended up making a stitchless wallet from a single piece of leather.
Carried the topsider for over a year, loved it, when I seen the topsider bifold had to get it, ordered it in natural with pea green stitching got it Saturday July 3rd and it is awesome very happy with it.
Recently ordered the topsider bifold and Hobei. So correct for you to call these “Works of Art”, and Michael’s design “geniusl”. Michael and his staff were extremely helpful during the process. Looking very forward to receiving these soon.
Genius design , I ordered one , almost pulled the trigger years ago when I started my minimalist journey but this bifold design is what I was missing , I like to carry cards and cash in a practical fashion
@@SOUTHAFRICANKNIFEGUY It’s dark chocolate as main color, olive as secondary, and red thread. I saw that combo in one of his Instagram posts and loved it. Your blue with natural is great and will have terrific patina.
I was comparing it to the old school wallet which was 3 times as thick as that, but then again it’s not for everyone it but open sea leather has a following and he remade it thinner
Hey man, 6 months have passed since you purchased the "hybrid wallet". Has the leather of the wallet yielded in these 6 months? Because I'm really interested in contacting the shop but from your video the wallet looks a bit stiff and I don't want to bother the owner for no reason. Thanks for any reply in advance 😁
Unnecessary complications to a wallet…try Mitchel leather or Farrah money clip wallets and forget about the stupid cash slot and enjoy the slim, simple and functional design!
That’s your opinion and your entitled to it but I’m a old school guy, but don’t worry I’ll be dead soon and your younger generation can build the world the way you want to until then just deal with the fact that people like what they like. Besides it’s an improvement over the old school wallet the cash is easier to get out Thanks for subscribing

‘Slim’ is a bit of a stretch. Empty it’s 7 pieces of leather thick

The wallet was brand new then it’s now super soft and has a nice patina
