Love your videos! Ordered three wallets from your videos. Ashland Capone little bulky. Tried Open Sea Topsider LT. little larger than anticipated. Just ordered gundeck mini today. I only cary 4 cards and 5-8 cash bills. Folded in half is ideal for me. Thank you for the videos!!
Just ordered my second wallet from this company a Horroween Black mini gun deck, I consider these some the best wallets made in the world and 20% off for Labor day is a steal.
Thank you for this review of the Gundeck Mini. Been searching for a while now and there doesn't seem to be much reviews of this wallet. I just ordered both the Topsider Mini and the Gundeck Mini from the Open Sea Leather page. Can't wait to get my hands on them.
@@robertduluth8994 they're still in rotation along with the other minimalist style wallets in my little collection. Although I only use them when I'm carrying light. They're only good with about 5 cards and 6 bills. If you need to carry more than that, the regular gundeck or topsider is still the better choice.
Mine has been through the washer and still is working perfectly except I had to put leather balm on it and the logo is kinda faded but otherwise it is awesome.
Dude that's it, I'm sold. I've been saying I'm getting something from open sea for better part of a year now... It's time. Lol hey thanks for insights into all these wallets, I'm sure it gets tiring. Oh and you totally gotta bring back that camera pan with the beach music sounds ... Awesome stuff 😁🙌🏻
@@ChrispyThings I think I mean to say the intro music where it pans around the reviewed item... Music reminds me of a beachy vibe... Or something from pulp fiction lol.
@@EdFromTheBlock Oh. Yes I had that song made for my channel specifically by a buddy of mine whose a music composer. It’s supposed to be rockabilly if you know what that is. I’ll try to work it in my videos more
Don't tuck that flap and make it a quick access, makes it hard to get to the cards in the pocket and close it. Close it normal and that little opening on the side acts as a way to grab a card and slide it out. I carry 6 cards that way with cash. Makes the quick access a vertical QuickDraw when it's in my pocket. Js
It did mention 4-5 cards and some cash…if you put more, it’s at own risk. I have 7 in mine with an average of 6-8 bills folded in thirds. Popped them in straight without having to slowly break in. Nothing ripped. It took less than a week to break in. It worked perfectly for me. One of the best designed wallets I’ve had for the size. If you need to carry more, it’s probably not for you. Also, I’ve read that if you contact them about a ripped stitch, the will replace the wallet for free. Best customer service for that price!
Uh, that’s a no for me. I don’t want to have to take all my cards out to find the one I want. That’s ridiculous. And I don’t like the flap. If I was going out with a bare minimum of two credit cards, my DL and insurance card, then I could see using this. But for $54? No.
@@ChrispyThings Usually two credit cards (3 max), drivers license, debit card, two insurance cards, and maybe a couple gift cards. So all those added up, from five to eight.

How’d you like em? How’s cash capacity

Open Sea Leather is amazing !

Glad I can help.
And camera pan with beach music sounds? Why am I not remembering this? Lol

Oooh, I've been waiting for this one.
Just got both minis. So excited!
Nice
Which thread color was with the topsider mini? The color is Sierra, but I can't figure out the thread. Brown or maybe Havana Cigar?
just curious, why do you prefer the vertical layout more?

Funny because I love the topsider I have two of them but I like the gun deck mini better than the topsider mini hahah
I wonder if they have an option to remove the branding. That would be better.
I´m agree with you... I Prefer the vertical wallets, and that leather looks amazing!
do you know if we can personalize with the name?
You know I’m not sure. I’d say shoot Mike a message. He’s very good at responding to questions
Yet another great review. Might have to think about this wallet. I'm looking for a casual type wallet to offset my dango spec ops wallet.
This isn’t a bad choice if you carry 6 cards or under
One negative I have heard is that these wallets are not burnished on the ends for that price, but you are saying they are burnished?
Absolutely they’re burnished.
Negative ghost rider. Those edges are "NOT" burnished.
Just got mine and I do not recommend it it is way too small you’ll rip out the thread trying to put your cards in
How did you rip a thread?
@@ChrispyThings sorry not thread stitching the end stitch came undone wasn’t a major deal I was able to pull it tight and re melt it

How many cards do you use on an everyday basis?
