Jim, he makes a brilliant comment surrounding the players. He says that we cant blame the players, at the end of the day, coaching is of great importance, Bobby Knight, he got things done, he was a coach woth no excuses, Jim is the same type of General. he prepares the Defense for battle and they respond. And the polar opposite is found with Ryan Day, and his offense..Great talent and poor coaching = Michigan!
Going to be a real challenge ! But Knowles was these guys playing much more comfortable than the 1st game with Oregon. Should be a bit more effective on D -- and if the Offense is too..... should be what all they need. I'm hoping for a win by a FG. --?--
The Buckeyes’ ability to shut down Oregon is probably less than it was in the first meeting. 1). Jordan Burch is playing this time, and he wasn’t last time. 2). The Ohio State O-Line is down two starters from when they last played. Their current rotation won’t be or stay fast and gritty enough for 4 quarters of Oregon pounding. 3). Michigan gave top tier teams an instruction guide to shutting down Ohio State. Pressure with 4, play mixed zones and keep the Buckeyes in front of you. On offense get the ball out on schedule and pound the rock. Play to their weaknesses and exploit their bad Day, aka Ryan Day.
@ I have no idea why they didn’t. They played man in the secondary, and got burned as a result. Michigan has played great defense against Ohio State for 4 straight years; top tier defenses could certainly implement something similar. Why they don’t is best known only to them.
@DeshCanter I see the xichigan defense much like the Oregon defense. Stronger in the interior. That is scary for me. The game against Tennessee was just a great game for the Buckeye OL. We'll just have to see what happens.
@ I’m a Michigan fan, but I’m also a former HS coach and just love football. The big question for me in this game is which Ohio State shows up? And, just as important, which Ryan Day shows up? Oregon is a complete team, knows how they like to play football and tries to impose their will on their opponents to play their style of football, in the same way (in principle) Michigan does. Lanning is a better coach than Day. Gabriel is a better QB than Howard. Ohio State has been a little schizophrenic this season. At times they can’t decide who they want to be. Does Dan Lanning get in Day’s head and taunt him into playing Oregon’s game? Or Does Day come out like he’s playing Tennessee? I think that would be a mistake; Oregon is much better and much more mature than Tennessee.
@DeshCanter Like I said... we'll just have to see. The last time I picked my Buckeyes to lose, they beat Alabama on their way to the 2014 title. There is no way that I can pick against them when they play Oregon for the 2nd time in the same season. I'll make my score prediction in a few days. I never coached, but I do have scars on my wrist after a surgery... that took place the week after playing against Apopka and some dude named Warren Sapp. Don't think that I don't respect your outlook. I do. I just can't see the Ducks beating us again... especially with the game not being in Autzen Stadium.
No, he can’t! Ducks offense is the best in he country and Gabriel is the better qb in this game! D is much better than they showed against PSU and they still came up with two INT’s in that game. We also have Jordan Burch back for this game who didn’t play the first time. This will be close for a half but then Oregon will pull away…42-28 Ducks!🦆
GO BUCKS😤💯
“Tim I’m 28 years old” lol poor Spence
Go Buckeyes!!! Take the team that demolished Tennessee to the Rose Bowl. (And do the same next year against TTUN!!)

Move on already!!
@@gtb5216mfers act like Ryan day isn’t one of the best offensive minds of our generation. 😂😂
Ohio will not shut Oregon’s offence down….Oregon’s will at least score 24
Ohio already beat Jax State 30-27. The Bobcats don’t play Oregon.

Thinking Tim's fave car is a rare mustang lol, #McQueen
I think OSU lights it up...courtesy of Michigan.

I'm wondering... why didn't Tennessee follow the instruction guide?
I mean... if you're analysis is correct, of course.

Enjoy the Tennesse win, it's the last of the season. Chip Kelly about to be 0-6 against the Ducks!
