Hey, great tutorial! What if I want the moss to be growing(and vanishing) inside the icosphere asnit moves across!?
Can I download the project if I am a subscriber Patreon?
in file flower and grass is not growing with ico sphere can you tell other method
Liked before watching :)
Best comment ever! 🙌 Thank you!
Hi Jonas! I'm struggling to find good grass assets online. Where did you import the plant assets from? On megascans i'm running into problems with atlas maps and they don't look very realistic. Would really appreciate the help! Thank you!
did you find any ?
Just discovered your TH-cam channel, great tutorial. 👏👏👏
I have always loved the tutorials you make with such a gentle pace. So informative yet fun. Thanks. :)
Hey Da Shaan! thank you very much for the kind words! I know that you have been following the channel for quite some time, so happy that you are still here :D
@@JonasRoenn Oh yes I have been here from the start I guess. When you did that grass growing tutorial. Your channel deserves a lot more recognition. Keep up the good work. :)
Thank you! I will keep pushing 🕺💪
thank you so much for this tutorial it was so helpful!
loving your tutorials such a underrated channel! your works are so clean and modern looking
Hey Sami! thank you so much for the kind words! glad you like it :D

Hey Mahmoud! Thank you so much for the kind words! 🙌
This is a perfect tutorial very well explained especially for my own scene! ty
THANKS A LOT!!!!!! I love ur tutorials!!!
hey i did all that with a flower model but when i applied the effect....the flower is flat...i mean is like de geometry just stick onto the surface
Could we have used raycast node to have the instances point based of the ray direction?
Hello, why does it not work when I connect a proximity group. I repeated everything exactly like you :(
Hmm dont know 😅
same for me :/
Hi man, you definitely need some more recognition! I am stunned by the visuals and your skills!
Experiencing some issues with importing the assets in a correct way.. after applying scale and everything else I put them in a group and link them up the exact same way you do, but they appear not exactly facing perpendicular from the faces of my stone.. any idea why is that happening ?
Hey! thank you! hmm sounds weird - have you played around with the Euler? its the only thing I can think of.
play with Euler
This man is underrated 🙏
Hey Fluorescent! Thank you very much! 🙌🕺
I cannot find sample nearest surface. How I can fix it
This is so inspiring! I was looking for this kind of animation for my short film for a long time, great job! Keep amazing content!
Also I have a question, i would like to make grass moving with wind, but I am not as good in geometry nodes and I dont know if thats even possible? Normal Wind and Force Turbulance doesn't work on this.
Greetings friend!
Hey! glad to hear that Barlo! yes that is possible with geo nodes :D I actually think there's a tutorial with this on TH-cam somewhere.
Hey man, great tut! love it, the only thing is when I make the first stage of nodes I have to increase the density by 50.000 so that I will be able to see some of the ico sphere, other wise I if I do the same like you for example 1.000 It will show only 1, the same happens to de value node for scale, I have to increase it a lot so that I will be able to spot them. Thank you in advance for your time to read and your response :) pd: currently using Blender 3.4.1
Hey - yes the size of your scene and will affecting how you size different things 🙌
I tried this on plane and it's working with mesh as a proximity but won't work with empty as a proximity object is there a reason why?
Hmm not sure - but yes, can’t work with empty - but just use a mest and hide 🙌
First of all I am using a translator and your tutorial worked really well!! But I would like to know what assets you used, is it possible?
From Quixel Megascans
Loved it ! ... just had a little trouble with some of the instances retracting as they get further from the faces.
Hey! Glad you liked it even if there was som Challenges 🙌😅
This is exactly what I was looking for 🙏🏻 thank you so much
You are welcome! 🙌
Hi, nice work! but how do u make the instances keep rotating? or is there anyway to make it rotate while it's appearing? thanks
Hey Wei! Thank you - you can do this in geo nodes as well - just didnt have time for it with this tut 🙌
@@JonasRoenn Thanks for reply!
Bravo
this is a great tutorial! thank you :)
Hey Ira! Thank you so much! More to come 🕺
great work man! keep it up
thanks man! :D
seus conteúdos são muito incríveis!!!
🕺🙌
MAN i just love you
❤️
the sphere is not working for me
Sorry to hear that 🙃 try again 🙌
@@JonasRoenn mine wasn't working too and then i found that the problem were in the node "Multiply Add" I needed to change the Multiplier number to -14.900 and the Addend number to 20.500 and then the animation worked!! Hope it helps:)
You are amazing!
Hey Eche! You are amazing! :D
It's not realistic why did you use this word:)
Hey Nodir - well i think it’s in the realism space considering its 3D. But fair if you have another opinion 😉 hope you liked it nevertheless 🕺
