If you wanna know why peanut looks so different, it's because his iconic appearance is actually an art sculpture called "Untitled 2004" by Izumi Kato. The original creator didn't expect SCP to blow up the way it did, so he wasn't concerned for copyright. But it lead to some trouble when Kato discovered SCP. He was unhappy with the association, though graciously allowed people to use it anyways in non-commercial contexts, meaning anyone who wanted to make a profit off their SCP thing had to redesign it. Eventually though, SCP just got too big, so the community just collectively decided to avoid using the design altogether, even non-commercially, and the image was removed from the site page.

To be honest the endurance ended up really poorly explained (at least on launch day, I don't know if Eleven changed anything). The creator, Eleven, admitted that himself and said that next time if he will make a game he is going to take more impatient people for playtesting.

When people did look at his profile, he was always just "the guy who made Peanut" and it was really demoralising to be known for something you have really nothing to do with, instead of your actual skill and portfolio.
It's not just about potential lawsuits, but also to keep in line with the spirit of the creative commons license. If it wasn't made specifically for SCP and under that same license then it's gotta go. 106 old man is the same story, the original art for that one wasn't CC.

25:20 Spiff, I don't wanna alarm you, but you're probably the only person I've seen who played this game that managed to beat the Post-Mortem minigame on their first attempt. Everyone else got so confused they instantly failed and lost the night.
FYI Spiff, there's actually a "Troll Demo" of Oblitus Casa that has different gameplay later on and i kid you not, anamatronic's called "DEEZ" and "NUTS" only found in the Troll version.
The thing about Oblitus Casa is that even with the patch, it isn't very stable due to around 7 people working on coding, which makes the code messy. Casa 2.0's gonna be a lot better to play (and tunnels won't suck), saying as a tester for the game myself.

SCP 096 is my favorite SCP ever, and If find it interesting how often you died to it, considering you don't see it's face in the office, and it jumpscares you instantly, instead of weeping for like a minute first. Yo spiff I got an idea for another fnaf world challenge that is basically nuzlocke but with randomized teams. The rules are: Put every character in the Wheel of Names and spin for your starting team. From that point on, if a character dies, you spin to replace them. If you find a character that died later on, you can put them back in the wheel. Giftboxes is entirely up to you if it’s fair game or not.

Whats strange about the blue door to the forest, if im not mistaken, that door is only opened if the door has a key hole so they opened that portal with a key then chose to not close stopping the anamoly instead installed a fnaf mag door. (Unless ig the last person to go in died in a random spot off in the woods perma locking it open till retreival) I get its game but that scp shouldnt be a threat when there are plenty of others that would make sense in the SCP world.
Fun fact: if doctor gets through the elevator, you don’t immediately lose. You just need to turn off lights as soon as he is in your office, if your a bit late he will kill you but if you do it in time he will go back to the elevators.
The fact he somehow played the april fools version first before the actual one is kind of hilarious, but also makes you realise that devs should probably put some sort of clear sign in game that it is the april fools version in case someone doesn't notice. Dunno what the download page used to say when he first got this, but now the download page clearly says "Aprils Fools" in the name.
if you like unique games with scp I recommend a game called lobotomy corporation, it's a game where you choose these scp like creatures which you need to send employees to work with to gain power, it's not as much of a horror game as it is a management game though
Lobotomy corp so good, so is Library of Ruina. They are wildly different games but damn can project moon make a good game. also THE DIFFICULITY CURVE IS VERTICAL
Seconding this. LobCorp is more just the setting and overall body/imagining horror (visualizing the stuff described in the observation logs, and some of the abnormalities) instead of jumpscares. It definitely evokes the same hyperfocus panic thing that FNaF does when managing all the stuff that goes on, except instead of jumpscares it's having everything fall apart and your precious nuggets getting torn to bits in front of your eyes. Also, it has major difficulty spikes; if playing, it's best to stall as long as possible until you can't handle what comes next so you can build up your agents for later. Meanwhile, Ruina's an entirely different game. It's less horror and more just...pure grim depression from the crapsack world setting (except for one part in particular, we don't talk about it). The deckbuilding aspect is my favorite part, since it gives you a whole 'nother level of strategizing, and the various floors provide ways to encourage a variety of playstyles. The difficulty curve is still vertical in places, although losing is much less punishing (especially if you manage to grab a kill or 2 beforehand, since you can still grab your enemy's gear as a result). Both games do share 2 important factors, the first of which being that their endgames are long. Like, really long. Each is like multiple hard and arduous fights back-to-back. The other factor is reading. It's mandatory. Do it. Good stuff, would highly recommend.
I watched the Oblitus Casa(?) VOD, and I know Spiff mentioned playing the multiplayer mod of SCP:CB, but honestly I'd love to watch him do a solo run of it. Is it speedrun-able? I think it is.

@@arsenioaribawono not really, autor of the game said the game took technically 7 years to make but in reality there was the previous version "five nights at scp" or smthng like that, the game was never released and project was thought to be cancelled but afther like 3 or 4 years the dev started making remake of the project "scp the endurance" the game we have today so yeah technically there was 7 years of development but in reality scp the endurance was made from scratch, no code or anything from previous "fnas" game was reused so in reallity it took 4 or 3 years to make this one game alone, if you count never completed project that was cancelled then it would be 7 but imo it's just weird to count that
The reason you're confused about peanut is probably because the original design was tied to a lot of controversies because it was based on a stolen image of a statue a guy made so now instead of one consistent image for everything a bunch of people are all proposing new designs to match the description
It wasnt really stolen, at the time when SCP 173 was written the entire site was still just fan fiction essentially, free stuff for anyone to use. Meaning: They never intended to sell it, so there really isnt any legal grounds for thievery. It's when they started to try and sell this stuff when it became an issue.

Oblitus Casa is a refreshing take on the traditional FNAF style. Visually, it is very polished and gameplay-wise it feels fair in terms of difficulty with the horror well integrated. It's one of those games that feels like it supersedes its inspiration rather than feeling like a passionless carbon copy.
spiff you got the bad ending, the good ending is going to larry's pocket dimension and finding the 3 pieces of paper, you put them in order and then on the 6th night you can use it to make an escape, and also there is coding involved lmao

The thing about Oblitus Casa is that even with the patch, it isn't very stable due to around 7 people working on coding, which makes the code messy.
Casa 2.0's gonna be a lot better to play (and tunnels won't suck), saying as a tester for the game myself.

I'd really recommend the Dayshift at Freddy's series, it's a really unique take on the FNaF series and if you can't tell I absolutely adore it

As an SCP fan and *attempted* writer, seeing an scp I’m unfamiliar with in a fan game is so cool! There is such rich potential in the thousands of articles for any story you want to tell, and constricting your narrative to just the same 5 anomalies is just shooting your self in the leg.

SCP 096 is my favorite SCP ever, and If find it interesting how often you died to it, considering you don't see it's face in the office, and it jumpscares you instantly, instead of weeping for like a minute first. I like to think it's just extra aggressive during these nights, and can't handle ANY looking at all. IDK it stuck out to me
If I were to guess, it’s because his mouse kept going over Shy Guy? Similar to how containment breach did it (any real visuals)? And for the minute thing, FNAF minutes are usually like, a second, so that one does make sense since he would weep for like, half an hour in game otherwise

Yo spiff I got an idea for another fnaf world challenge that is basically nuzlocke but with randomized teams.
The rules are:
Put every character in the Wheel of Names and spin for your starting team.
From that point on, if a character dies, you spin to replace them.
If you find a character that died later on, you can put them back in the wheel.
Giftboxes is entirely up to you if it’s fair game or not.
I love how it never gets old to see our favorite man play fnaf games over and over again and sometimes changes it. Such a great way to procrastinate.

Whats strange about the blue door to the forest, if im not mistaken, that door is only opened if the door has a key hole so they opened that portal with a key then chose to not close stopping the anamoly instead installed a fnaf mag door. (Unless ig the last person to go in died in a random spot off in the woods perma locking it open till retreival) I get its game but that scp shouldnt be a threat when there are plenty of others that would make sense in the SCP world.

You just need to turn off lights as soon as he is in your office, if your a bit late he will kill you but if you do it in time he will go back to the elevators.
The fact he somehow played the april fools version first before the actual one is kind of hilarious, but also makes you realise that devs should probably put some sort of clear sign in game that it is the april fools version in case someone doesn't notice.

if you like unique games with scp I recommend a game called lobotomy corporation, it's a game where you choose these scp like creatures which you need to send employees to work with to gain power, it's not as much of a horror game as it is a management game though

Lobotomy corp so good, so is Library of Ruina. They are wildly different games but damn can project moon make a good game. also THE DIFFICULITY CURVE IS VERTICAL
Seconding this. LobCorp is more just the setting and overall body/imagining horror (visualizing the stuff described in the observation logs, and some of the abnormalities) instead of jumpscares. It definitely evokes the same hyperfocus panic thing that FNaF does when managing all the stuff that goes on, except instead of jumpscares it's having everything fall apart and your precious nuggets getting torn to bits in front of your eyes. Also, it has major difficulty spikes; if playing, it's best to stall as long as possible until you can't handle what comes next so you can build up your agents for later.
Meanwhile, Ruina's an entirely different game. It's less horror and more just...pure grim depression from the crapsack world setting (except for one part in particular, we don't talk about it). The deckbuilding aspect is my favorite part, since it gives you a whole 'nother level of strategizing, and the various floors provide ways to encourage a variety of playstyles.
The difficulty curve is still vertical in places, although losing is much less punishing (especially if you manage to grab a kill or 2 beforehand, since you can still grab your enemy's gear as a result).
Both games do share 2 important factors, the first of which being that their endgames are long. Like, really long. Each is like multiple hard and arduous fights back-to-back.
The other factor is reading. It's mandatory. Do it.
Good stuff, would highly recommend.
I watched the Oblitus Casa(?) VOD, and I know Spiff mentioned playing the multiplayer mod of SCP:CB, but honestly I'd love to watch him do a solo run of it. Is it speedrun-able? I think it is.

@@arsenioaribawono not really, autor of the game said the game took technically 7 years to make but in reality there was the previous version "five nights at scp" or smthng like that, the game was never released and project was thought to be cancelled but afther like 3 or 4 years the dev started making remake of the project "scp the endurance" the game we have today
so yeah technically there was 7 years of development but in reality scp the endurance was made from scratch, no code or anything from previous "fnas" game was reused so in reallity it took 4 or 3 years to make this one game alone, if you count never completed project that was cancelled then it would be 7 but imo it's just weird to count that

The Peanut doesn't really have one official look anymore since the original image had some copyright issues.
The reason you're confused about peanut is probably because the original design was tied to a lot of controversies because it was based on a stolen image of a statue a guy made so now instead of one consistent image for everything a bunch of people are all proposing new designs to match the description
It wasnt really stolen, at the time when SCP 173 was written the entire site was still just fan fiction essentially, free stuff for anyone to use.
Meaning: They never intended to sell it, so there really isnt any legal grounds for thievery.
It's when they started to try and sell this stuff when it became an issue.

Set the power button to do nothing in Windows power settings.
Open control panel, go to Hardware and Sound, then Power Options. On the left pane, select "choose what the power button does."

Oblitus Casa is a refreshing take on the traditional FNAF style. Visually, it is very polished and gameplay-wise it feels fair in terms of difficulty with the horror well integrated. It's one of those games that feels like it supersedes its inspiration rather than feeling like a passionless carbon copy.
Honestly a UCN style game with a couple dozen SCPs would be sick
spiff you got the bad ending, the good ending is going to larry's pocket dimension and finding the 3 pieces of paper, you put them in order and then on the 6th night you can use it to make an escape, and also there is coding involved lmao
I do know the devs of Oblitus Casa will be making a 2.0 to the game to fix the game up so that can explain some of its problems
