I got into the google UX course because of you and am really enjoying the content and the skills I’m building. I’m halfway through the 4th course and I’m taking the portfolio work pretty seriously. I’m trying to get a few freelance jobs so I have some paid work experience and this resume video has come just in time for me!

Aliena, thank you for this great video! How exactly did you estimate 28% NPS increase? On which stage did you conducted the 1st test and 2nd (or how many tests were needed) to compare results and get this number - 28?
I suggest to have at least two rounds of user testing to gain similar insights. Let's say in the first round of test 3/5 participants were satisfied with the experience and in the second round 4/5 participants were satisfied. You can say there's a 20% user satisfaction increase.

Thanks for the video! I'm curious to know: is it a good idea to use LinkedIn's resume builder after all?
I remember trying it a few years ago, it might lead to a double pages resume. Here in the US, it's very important to keep resume on 1 page.
After all, it's the content (text) that matters the most rather than the layout. Using the linkedin builder simply means you are updating the content on Linkedin and then directly export profile that as resume.

where is the template?
Can you put personal/ school project as experience? I see a lot of people do that but I’m worried that this cannot pass background check
You can! Title your section as “Experience” not “Work Experience” Experience can be anything related to UX design as long as you did the work, doesn’t have to be professional ones
I notice on your thumbnail that you didn't include your image in the resume. Can you tell me why the reason is ? And what your recommendation for this? Should i include image in my resume or not.
In the US, we don't include a headshot in the resume. Different countries do it differently, you can consult ChatGPT to find out whether you shall do it or not.
