How to Make a leather bracelet. This is a rope style basket weave stamp bracelet.

  • Making a simple rope basket weave leather bracelet. I use a basket weave stamp kit by Sergey Neskromniy. I use Fiebing's Leather Dye, Bee natural risist and Tan-kote. This is a short video that shares all my steps. A simple project for leather crafting. Remember to keep those leather crafting stamps as straight as you can. Enjoy and thank you!

    Vegetable tanned leather
    7oz (2.78mm) thick
    Stamps:
    Sergey Neskromniy
    Stamp #360B kit

    When sizing your bracelets how much extra to you add in to get a comfortable fit but not snug? I assume you start with the exact size around the wrist and add some to it for the snap placement.

      for example, my wrist is 7" and the bracelet ends up being 8 1/4 inches, A lil longer because I do not want it to tight. I measure from the center out 3.5" in both directions and add no less then a half inch on both sides and that is where I place my snap. Then there is about a 1/4 inch from the end of the bracelet. I hoped this helped. This should be a guide, you can place the snaps even further if you want it loose. Thank you, I hoped this helped. :)
