Freddy the smoothie! You can see though when he wants to step on one his swing speed is much higher. Many folks don't realize how good he is out of the bunkers. Great control!
I've been working on getting my swing groove back, and i have to thank Freddie and his swing for actually helping me... Notre if i could just score like Freddie.
Freddie BOOM BOOM Couples, my all-time favorite player as we are the same age and have followed him since he showed up on tour , I used to play all his LYNX Parallax clubs, I only have a LYNX Parallax putter left. Sold or traded off the other clubs. I wish I still had the LYNX Parallax Copper irons I had at one time, those were SO sweet! Only wish my Swing was a sweet as his is!
I'm 61 now, but when I started playing, I asked my Dad how the pros swing so easy but hit so far. He said "they swing smoothly but not easy - easy will get you nowhere!".
I'd have to go watch other Freddy videos to see if he always does this, but I noticed on all clubs he does not wear a glove! Doesn't that rip apart your hands after a while?
No not at all I've played since I was 8 im 41 now and never worn a glove when I was having lessons when I started playing the old Pro who I had lessons with never wore a glove and told me not to because he used to say it stole abit his feel and I have to say the same i can't feel the club aswell with a glove on. Maybe freddy is the same!!!
