The flying elbow is where his effortless power comes from because it gives him more width and time. Just practice getting your elbow back in and your golden. I hit the ball a mile and have same mechanics as do most people starting off. External rotation on way back down or loop feeling will get your elbow back down at the delivery position.

That's funny...way back in the day I used Lynx Parallax irons for the same reason. Definitely don't miss those clubs, they were too offset for me.

His tempo, yes. His swing mechanics are actually pretty awful but obviously work for him. Check out some of those swing analysis videos of it.
