For the life of me I don’t get all the Couples swing love. Dude won 1 Major in 30 years on the PGA tour. Trevino and Faldo have 14 between the 2 of them and I don’t see all the hard ons over their swings like I do over Fred’s Sergio the same. 1 Major in what 25 years? But all these people just drool over his action.

I am a drummer, and of course, Neil is a massive influence on me and a personal hero. If I ever saw him on the street during his life I would have given him a nod or a hello and kept moving. It would be hard not to ask for a picture with him, but I respect his right to privacy.

For the life of me I don't understand how such a vertical backswing doesn't slice

He doesn't know how these guys shoot 7, 8 or 9 under. He did it all the time in the early 90's.

Couples and Els,, wonderful tempo , deceptive swing speed,,,they make it look so easy,,if only !!!!

Watching Fred Couples, Ernie Els, and Chris Kirk swing golf clubs has cured my anxiety. Charles Barkley's swing caused my anxiety in the first place.

Only 2 years ago we saw him shoot 60 in the final round in the SAS Championship. He seems like a long ways away from playing like that unfortunately. Thanks for all the memories though Freddy. Truly a legend. 100 years from now people will still be thinking you had the sweetest swing of all
