I got into Tai Chi and Bagua and that did me in. I lived in the forest with creeks and wild orchids for a year. I'm really far out. Love you Paul! Peace. Mike.
Huge fan of the martial art and your content! Keep in coming! ( If you haven't already, you need to try to get out to the Pacific Northwest, some of the best hiking/camping in the country)
Read Joachim Meyer On Combat I have studied FMA for years and that book was a revelation pay attention to the dagger and dusack sections and Meyer’s square
Hi Paul my name is Doug Kinney. I requested some information from you before and I didn't get an answer. I didn't want to bother you again because I thought maybe you weren't into selling product it wasn't yours. Here's a question I'm going to ask it again since you are showing product that you purchased. Can you tell me where you got your sling bag for your weapons that you carry hiking?
doug kinney hi Doug, sorry about not getting back to you before. It probably just slipped through as I get a lot of messages. The bag I’m currently using is from Kali Gear.
Love your stuff and your obvious dedication my. I've spent over 40 years studying in different arts and Escrima/Kali which was one of my most favorite due to efficiency and the ability to transition from various weapons to empty hand where only your range differs but movements are basically the same. I've trained SWAT and various police, state, county and city in edged and impact weapons. If I could make one suggestion on your fencing as well as how you enter at any time. I know this because I used to compete in stick fighting and lost a match because opponent would get to me a split second before I got him. Changed it and never lost another match. If you notice sprinters always start in blocks to shoot themselves out faster. Point your rear foot forward and up on the toes like your a sprinter. Push off the rear foot just like like you would if running a race. You'll double your speed and add More power to your entering an opponent. Take care buddy and good luck
