Great video, I love the way you honestly call people out for the complaints they create. I think I'm going to start calling my students on this as well. It really doesn't matter its the understanding of the move not what it hits

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!! Say it again please. Man !!!! I’m going to do a sit down and chat with me segment soon . Just talking about how life is like being an instructor and what we mean when we are describing techniques and what you really should focus on. Because my students and folks who I have taught worry about things that won’t help them at all. Just creating false narratives that are unrealistic.

LOL "you better attack me if I hit you with a stick"
That's kinda what I was thinking when I first started training in Kali, am I gonna just pass someone off. I gotta learn to finish too. One strike probably won't be enough.
Side note, last fight I was in I won by 3 blocks... that's always a good move too hahaha.

You jumped from 6 to 8..without showing 7..in your first illustration but corrected it towards the end.My understanding is that 7 is a thrust to the otherside as in 6 and then 8 strike to the knee ..usually the over head and around motion is applied just before 8 instead of 9.. ...6 and 7 are shoulder/collarbone strikes, and 10 and 11 are thrust to the eyes.... however different systems do have different variations...but good stuff overall..hope my observations helped

Great video. Well done! I prefer the Rattan sticks, but I also use the simple $2.50 PVC pipes they sell at Lowes or Home Depot, they work very well, they hurt and they don't break! for the strike that goes behind the head after striking the knee, I'd rather say it's a great transition to keep a good flow and momentum, it also generates a lot of striking force being loaded from the back.

I use rattan but my reasoning behind the stick you see me using is all about sponsoring, which is what I’m trying to get from cold steel

My first and only is I don't appreciate being falsely accused (aka complained to) of being a complainer by someone, ever let alone the first time I ever watch and give my time to one of their videos.
Hence I'm thinking the last time also.

You talk too much. You’ll get your points across better by demonstrating. In all your videos it’s like you enjoy hearing yourself and you go on and on into meaningless drivel. Less talk more technique.
