I never shed tears from tv, movies, anything of the sort & my ear is mad wet from the tears! I had to go into detail like that because I’m just shocked! This was so moving! No wonder she won

I can already tell you that I watched this video and I couldn’t get through it without crying but at the end those tears were turned to joy. This young lady is special and I do not know her personally but I want to take her under my wings and be a mentor and a big sister to her. I hope this message gets to her because she is destined for greatness already and it has nothing to do with winning American Idol. I pray that this message gets to her!

Out of all the auditions I see so far this one girl is the true star. Im sure she was super extremely nervous making it that far knowing this was it but she pulled it off. Fantasia in the making and yeah I am a white grandma and I love this girl already. She has a special gift. Any child who has pulled through a rough life with momma issues and prob no dad. Thank god for grandma. It just takes one adult to believe in you growing up. You go girl. You have a beautiful soul and I am already hoping you win this year or make it far. Looking forward to it.

I never saw this first audition of Sam's. She first caught my eye/ear in Hollywood. Forget the song she sang, but I felt her performance; as in it brought me to tears. I felt her purity and was so drawn to her humble appeal. I predicted her as front runner from that monent on. So glad I was right. So happy for her.
