Growing our local industries IS and shold be our #1 goal. Having said so, we must recognize that it takes time. There are steps that must be taken in that direction but they will not produce an immediate turn-around. But until then, we have an immediate and urgent need to help our young guys - 2 generations, Millenials and Gen Z - get jobs. At this point, labor export may be the best first step.

There are steps that must be taken in that direction but they will not produce an immediate turn-around.
